Good job guys, this what I was looking for the end of an epic trilogy.

How did you start playing after downloading?

Start your game you completed then go to load a game. You will see one called Autosave which is before the attack on the Cerebus base. Load that up and replay the last 2 or so hours of the game again. You will see all the EC stuff that way. If you start from the save called "Restart The Citadel: The Return Mission" you will see the new endings from the choices thing but miss some of the EC stuff before it.

If i start a completely new game, will it still work?

The new endings are well done Bioware and am ok with them. But why could you not have done this befor bring the game out? But that said atleast you fixed it. I can now replay the game without the old ending.

So I'm pretty much scared to replay the game from that save again cause I already did once and i guess the download didn't register so I just redownloaded the EC again.i hope it's worth it. Apparently u have to beat the game once then dtart from that save in order to get your extra content.

Yea for sure. You should notice more dialogue and cutscenes towards the end of the game.

EC starts when you rush to the beam to citadel, it shows what exactly happens when you are shot by harbringer. No more spoilers though - DLC is worth the price, it would be worth 15$ even if i had to pay for it.

since i still can't download this freaking DLC after 7 hours of its release, I'm heading over to youtube to simply watch the cut scenes there, and find out if I even want to bother with it at this point...

Well, being so very late up here I'm gonna keep it short: I still believe that the logic behind the reapers' purpose is flawed, but if I had to accept it, the ending was much better. And I've only seen one of them. Overall, great job team, now I can look back at ME3 and say I loved all of it, even the ending to some degree.

I did not buy that DLC (hate to buy DLC that should be in the game in the first place) and had no prob in downloading the Ext cut.

Thank you Bioware for acknowledging fans and adding some good content to the ending of ME3. I really enjoyed the extended cut, especially the synthesis ending. You were able to address many of the fans' questions in such a short development time for the EC. Now I have some closure to my favorite video game franchise = ).

ok so I've seen nearly all the endings on youtube now, and my only hope is that, while reading their lines, some of the voice actors looked over at the writers and gave them a "This is some of the stinkiest garbage I've ever had to read aloud," look. Or better yet, said it right to their faces...

To those of you who have praised the Extended Cut, I pity you. To Bioware, I mourn you. To EA, I'd spit right in your faces if I had but the opportunity. To all the fans Bioware and this series have ever had, I bid you a sad farewell. I can no longer count myself among you.

Ok, no issue with the download of this new DLC.

But IMO it's still bad: inconsistent plot/scenery, star child and space magie should have no place in the ending of a major sci-fi license.
The extra choices (by the way try refusing the star child offer) and feedbacks are not that bad but the issue was never there for me.

At the end of day you cant please everyone. Most of the ME3 Universe
enjoy the EC experience sure if they released this version first then
not many people would of been complaining about the ending .

Remember guys it's not an update so to speak. In Origin, right click on ME3 and go to 'Show Game Details', then 'Shop For Add-Ons', and you'll find it.

What do you think were doing all day long???
