well done bioware. Closure, with a future. Should have done this first time through. Never leave it to the gamer to think for themselves. Once again, WELL DONE! Now dlc earth Please?

definitely a huge improvement, how the ending should've been all along. but um.....it's a little "little" for 1.8gb. I understand them saying you should start from the assault to Cerberus base, so you can experience the finale in its entirety instead of just jumping to a save near the end and experiencing it half-cocked, but the EC content doesn't kick in until you reach the Conduit beam, which is pretty much the very end.

and not a whole lot more goes on. a number of pre-rendered cutscenes and extended conversation with the Catalyst boy. I certainly wouldn't expect it to be 1.8gb worth of data. that's the size of the Shadow Broker entire DLC folder. and it's definitely not just a bunch of cutscenes.

I also recognized the first EC scene from the game's deleted scenes posted on youtube a couple months ago (that ended with the death of your two squadmates from a Reaper beam). it's obvious this wasn't a spontaneous decision to just make this extension, it's been around for a long time, which makes me believe the allegations that Bioware had intentionally left the finale obscure and lacking, only to reveal the original entire ending via paid DLC. but thanks to the outrage of the majority of legitimate buyers, we now got it for free.

This is inappropriate especially for the forums, people have a right to be angry and to vent there frustrations towards Bioware. it wasn't up to her standards, okay thats her opinion, it's just one opinion some like the endings some don't. Instead why not try see other peoples pov instead of verballing attacking someone?

After watching the endings. I still have mixed feelings. I do like that they explain a little more, but they are still missing something. Maybe the damage has already been done. As it has been too long since i completed the game,and my emotional connection has already been severed. As for me the problems with mass effect 3 are more than the endings. My big three complaints are?

Its the Rachni Queen. It doesnt really matter if you killed her in ME1.
Not having any way to save Legion ( I felt too forced in this area and I ultimately felt I was not in control)
And the third strike and the biggest in my book {Much Much Worst than RED BLUE AND GREEN endings} was not having Anderson on the council If you appointed him there in the first Mass Effect. Then he should be there in the 3rd. It just leaves a sour taste of lazy, I can't get over. and yes I have read the codex. Explaining he left to prepair for the invasion. That just cheap and insulting to the player when you drop the ball on a major plot point like that.

You're not alone, everyone with a decent IQ understands that this EC is insult to our intelligence and love for ME series. Spoilers:

In my gameplay I decided not to do anything and refuse the choices that stupid Casper put infront of me, it's the only ending that means and counts as something.  

I especially like when you refuse him and he says with more threathing voice; "YOUR BELIEFS ARE NOT IMPORTANT!" (something like that) and then when you refuse every choice he says with Harbinger's voice: "SO BE IT!" The child is no Catalyst he is obviously the Harbinger.

After that you see Liara's holo under the beacon saying everyone died and hoping that the next generation will improve upon their mistakes. In the Stargazer scene the female Stargazer says that because of Shepard, they live in peace and that because of the info he and Liara provided, they avoided the Reaper therat. 

I think that is the only true ending, true to the spirit of the series and it should be canon.

Still damn odd endings....

But that was a lot better. Should have been like that from the get go. There were plot holes big enough to fly a C-5 through the first time round. Most (not quite all...Harbinger not shooting Normandy from the sky was the big thing with me...) of them were patched.

But bittersweet? Much, MUCH better usage this time around than the first time. The first time around, I just felt...utterly confused. Then angry. Really, REALLY angry.

Granted, all I've done so far is put a bullet in the little bastard reapers brain, then did Synthesis (and almost shed manly tears)...but it's better.

If anything...I'd say this whole experience, combined with other little niggling things throughout the game, shows what happens when anyone is rushed. Things feel slapped together, the ball gets dropped, and people get angry. This should have had another 6 months in development from the get-go. Did the rush come from EA's honcho's, or from Bioware internally? Who knows. But this definitely supports what I've suspected all along.

Now, about a hi-res texture pack for PC...
