I would imagine so. I believe those were put on the back burner to get this out as fast as possible. I dont think it will be after the conclusion though. I could be wrong about that though. 

In regards to the ec it was a vast improvement. It felt like they were going through the list of complaints in terms of forum plotholes that people were complaining about. The destroy ending did seem a little open ended though. Wont get into it for the people who havent played it yet. I do think its the best they could of done without redoing the ending which was impractical to hope for

Thats classic Its only Sarah Who actually hating lol. Answer me two questions Wasteman Sarah. Was the EC better then the first origanal ending? Yes or No? Did MOst of the Universe enjoy the Ending with the EC yes or no?

Can someone tell me exactly step by step how to load my legend save file? I checked in Bioware documents for it on both of my characters and it is in fact there since I finished the game with both.Should I just try and find a pre Cerberus base save file and try from there?

Dont Bet on any "info"   They'll just lie to your face Like they did to their true fans  that understands ME LORE  better than those that just played it  and  don't fully understands  the concept of BW's "ALLEGED ARTISIC INGERITY"

I've played the EC and just want to say Thank you Bioware you did a fantastic job on it, the endings are great I'm looking foward to seeing more of your work you made such a great trilogy

So, played it.

And at first, I was little confused. Couldn't tell what was different. Wasn't till I got to the Catalyst that I figured out that all the scenes BioWare had added? Was basically what I'd assumed had happened in the original endings.

I played through the end of the game starting with a saved-game within the Cerberus Base Mission, but I didn't find any new content until after the Reaper blast at the Citadel Beam. Is that right? Or, did I do something wrong somewhere?

I was a hater of the endings, like a lot of other people and I had fairly low hopes for the EC. Now however I will happily say I am very pleased. Did the EC make EVERYTHING right? No. Of course not. What it did was make the endings that Bioware wanted in their game make sense, and that I can live with.

It clarified most of the questions I had, and to me finally wrapped up the ME series in and acceptable way. Thank-you for that Bioware. You have regained not all, but a lot of my trust that I lost in you.

Granted, I have only watched the "Synthesis" option to date, and it's great additional info and art....but this didn't really answer anything I hadn't already assumed. I had connected these dots already via imagination/assumption. Glad Bioware did it in a way that didn't change anything, just enhanced it - I have alot of respect for the fact that they didn't mess with the integrity of their vision. Kudos, I already loved it but I have even more respect for the creators of this universe!

I really loved the extended cut (its 04:40 o´clock where I live right now).

The smartest idea was to make doubt possible in interacting with the kid and not having him be a god-like genius. I sort of could see how his creation in combination with his actions was tragic, because he didn´t FULLY understand life. I chose the destroy option, because it symbolizes (for me) the hope, that future life will learn from these events and find a way to coexist.

I will check out the other two endings eventually, but right now I need to sleep. Good Night!

I'd say time constraints, the issue may have they may have announced a too early release date and were forced to cut back on the ending to try to get it out on time. The EC is closer to what "The Final Hours" stated was the originally planned ending, where you would converse with the catalyst and be able to ask questions to clarify motives and other things.
