Excellent work. Having been trying to connect to the one and only Origin for almost half a day, I can confirm from these forums that the new endings are refreshing, insightful and definitely worth downloading. Thanks again for caring about your fans like this.

Thank you for listening and for saving Mass Effect, Bioware. I finally found peace, now I can enjoy my other playthroughs much more. And please use this experience for future releases, humans don't like getting their hearts stabbed.

Well done on the new endings! much clearer, and the new Control and Synthesis endings make things much more ambiguous (in a good way!) as to whether there's a "good" ending vs a "bad" ending, each of the three choices with their pro's and con's. Round of virtual drinks on me, courtesy of my favourite store on the citadel!

I'm more than happy to say that EC really did it for me. It returned Shepard a personality I knew (my biggest issue) and it also got a stylish and much needed refusal option. Thank you, Bioware, You made me proud :).

Now I have to survive at work after not so sleepy night and later finish remaining endings (I've already done half of them). See you later in the spoiler section, you know, processing feelings, lol.

Better, a lot better. Not perfect, or even brilliant, but an ending I can live with now..

Thank you Bioware.

One thing this whole mess has thrown up though is just how much of a waste of space most games review sites are...

I don't believe you guys. You did it.

With the original ending, you had succeeded in killing my faith of your company, the mass effect franchise and your nobility. I almost always replay a game, I was never going to do that with this it just killed it. You did the impossible, you have restored all that faith and love of this franchise. Not so much that the new ending kicked all the goals I wanted, but it kicked a fair few, but because you accepted responsibility for your MONSTROUS F*ck up (no offence) and did everything in your power to fix it. You LISTENED to us, and applied alot of those requests. It was no easy task and you've done extremely well in a short time. I would've liked for shepard to live but that was never going to happen. You've given closure, a decent ending to an amazing series and won back my loyalty. I am downloading now and replaying my game.

Well done to you all.

Hear hear. Not many would admite responsibilty, listen to the fans and DO something. A cracking effort from you all. The EC endings has given me an urge to redo all the games and see other possibilitys that exist. Awaiting the next installment in the ME world. Image IPB

I complained of the lack of closure when I first played the game, now I went through it once again. These were the endings that should have been all along. Thank you very much for your hard work BioWare, Mass Effect 3 now feels like a complete game. If possible please persuade EA next time to let you work on your titles as long as it is needed. Thank you once again.

Thank you, Bioware. The EC is the ending I've wanted for the trilogy. A bittersweet ending that makes sense to me. So, thanks for the closure. Jeez. ...

What about the guy shown breathing at the end (assuming you went with the destroy ending) ?
................Please don't tell me its not Shepard.

When an author, authors or a company make great works (movies, novels or video games) the public, the fans, always have big expectations for the next works. Today, the time and money are crucial for the companys, but the great works are crucial to fans.
I'm one of the people think there is not good idea change the possible endings of ME3 for another diferent endings. But I think the Extended Cut is very good work and the work that need ME3 from the start. Thanks.
(Sorry for my English)

Why are some of guys not able to download it still. : |

I live in India and I could download it from Origin. What gives?

*Spoiler*

Atleast they acknowledged that something was wrong with the original endings since the citadel and relays don't get destroyed in this version

Well, it mostly makes sense. That's better than nothing I guess. Still not happy but no longer angry..

Seriously though.. 4th option.. ftw.

GTFO GODCHILD.

Major props for at least doing something. That's more than most would do.. for free anyways.

Uhm... I didn't despite the original endings at all, but shared the feeling some things were missing.

Now that the EC improvements were so easily spoilt for me, I have some mixed feelings about it already lol 2GBs? and replay from Cerberus Base? I was replaying on insane mode, but I don't have the time to catch up so I think I'll get right to the Base at least, so I could experience the whole deal... SO BE IT. :P

Better, but still doesn't live up to the standard of older Bioware titles. I have mixed feelings, it was somewhat pleasing, but definitely still not up to snuff.

Hopefully they will continue mass effect fraanchise on a new era without shepard
On the ending if you look upon the text upon the end of the Credits.
Bioware says "we are looking forward to continue the Mass effect Universe":alien::alien:
