OK - fair enough ... I'm generally fairly well aligned with the "balance" crowd and I get so bored of people just labelling us nerfers, or stating that balance makes everything the same...

I think most of the pro-balance mob are generally NOT FBW/G/G farmers (personally if I land in that lobby I always leave, I'll do it if it comes up in unknown / unknown / gold as the classes won't be optimised for Geth smashing then and it makes things a little more interesting, but I won't look for it) - most people seem to generally agree that TC is THE single most useful skill in the game, granted something has to be, but if everyone pretty much agrees it's the same thing, then that thing might be worth looking at... if there was a lot of debate over which skill or class is "the best" then you can be fairly sure that everything is fairly well balanced.

Yes some weapons or classes will always be better than others, but there really shouldn't be one stand-out class, build or weapon that is head and shoulders above the rest; for instance, factoring everything in including rarity and weight, the Mantis isn't a bad sniper rifle - using it doesn't completely cripple newbies who've only got that rifle to X.

If I was looking at balance now, there are more things I would buff than nerf - the main things I'd consider nerfing slightly would be the Krysae (break the TC synergy on it and remove proxy detonation), the Reegar (make it incompatible with Armour Piercing and maybe headshots) and tweak the Grenade Capacity gear (so that level 1 gives 1 extra grenade, level 2 gives 1 grenade and automatically "reloads" one grenade at the start of a wave ... up to level 5 giving 3 extra grenades and "reloading" 2).

As for buffs - Assault Rifles, Cryo Blast, Fortification and Carnage could all use little buffs... and that's not even mentioning fixing the glitches like KroGuard rage.

After reading through paragraphs of useless drivel, I have this to say: nerfing tactical cloak will not make gold any harder. People have been steamrolling gold for some time now, with (nearly) all possible team make ups, not just infiltrators. Game's been out long enough.

its a generalisation based on playing games for more yrs than i care to remember.
Its not a singular group but the mentality is very consistant over all of them " i am right, dont care what most people think/want"
Will try a different tac, think we can agree that the forum goers here are a bit more "hardcore" and are slightly better informed than the average pug who is happy just to play it how it is? So in all these nerf inf threads very roughlly 3:1 have said leave it be, but the nerfers still dont care and want it there way, minority of a minority want to dictate how the game is!! Can you see where i am comming from?

i agree about the krysae totally, there was almost no ****ing about infs until that stupid gun was released( well if i discount "aggro dump guy") move it over to at ar class instead of sniper,

Well Decoy makes gold too easy also, wonder will it get nerfed.
-No longer works on Primes, Banshees, Brutes, Atlas and Phantoms
Some of us would be in a world of trouble if BW decided to do that to decoy.

Any infiltrator on the team full of non infiltrators suck for most of the games. He either is a good shot, killing everything, or a bad one, hiding/dying for all the time. So nerfing cloak is like killing the only good reason to play one.

Besides, you d*b s*p f*k, infiltrators are this type of soldiers, who "infiltrate". How they can do that, if you kill the only ability they have to do it?
