Actually your team mate did you multiple favors:

1. Saved you some time
2. Stopped you from further embarrassing yourself against that guardian
3. Awarded you extra XP

That's right, look at #3 and think: it is a co-op game where the TOTAL XP is awarded to ALL players. If you finish off that guardian, the team gets the killing XP. This way the team got the killing XP + your assist XP, ergo a higher total.

OP, if you'd bothered to learn how to play this game properly, you'd never have had to run here and cry in the first place. Your teammates did you a favor by killing that Guardian for you. It's obvious that, if you had been allowed to continue this, we could have counted from 1 to a googolplex before you'd be able to kill that Guardian. Do you know how many particles there are in the universe? Less than a googolplex. So there you have it.

By the way, at the end XP is SHARED, so there is no such thing as killstealing.

We need some SERIOUS rebalancing. Scoreboard is heavily skewed to favor killing blows so it doesn't reflect skill. I mean, the enemy in the vid is just a Guardian but I've seen this happen with Atlases and Primes. Not cool.

Good thing we are getting a TC nerf soon. Infils are the worst at kill stealing, that's why they always get the highest scores.
