I agree. I don't even plan on wasting my time with the DLC until I see other players' feedback. I hope they got the point that we care about Shepard as much as they care about Liara and Joker.

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt, Bioware has earned that much. in every work of fiction, what the author wanted to convey and what is actually presented to the audience are often different. Every artist has a right to defend their work after accepting criticism, this is their response. I'm willing to trust Bioware this one last time.

Anywho, if bioware was finding that they were reaching the 2g limit for xbox downloads, why didn't they simply release it in multiple installments? Say one for war assets in action and one for epilogues?
or you know have the stuff in the game originally..

I'm glad to hear that the Extended Cut is done.  Hopefully this will bring closure regarding  Mass Effect 3's ending and we can finally get some good singleplayer DLC.
