What the hell? So.. Jessica Merizan was lying after all if that information is true. She said on twitter that Shep can reunite with the crew, depending on your decisions.crimzontearz wrote...
uh someone told me it was confirmed that Shepard stays dead in all endings because "that is what was intended" confirmation plz?

I just want to know what they're doing with the "Shepard lives" scenario. I have a lot of issues with the ending, but in the end, that's going to be the one deciding factor in whether I ever do a second playthrough.
I agree. I don't even plan on wasting my time with the DLC until I see other players' feedback. I hope they got the point that we care about Shepard as much as they care about Liara and Joker.
Considering I don't play MP, I never could get the Shepard lives scenario. I just have to check these posts for spoilers and watch youtube.

At the end of the day this can mean nothing but I think it's worth of a note the fact that the EC is the biggest DLC they've released for the Mass Effect franchise.

I was just comparing the sizes of the two DLCs and the EC has 1,9 GB of content when the LotSB has 1,52 GB.

Nice info. Looks good!

It's up to 75 minutes of scenes, and in the interview they said it would affect as far back as the Cronos mission, if that helps.felipejiraya wrote...

But now you get to watch your squadmates starve to death! Closure!
But what if I want to see them turn into cannibals and eat each other for food? Where's my art, dammit!

One thing wasn't clear though, for those of us in Europe (Englajnd here) with a 360 - do we have to wait until the 4th of July? Why can't this have been finished and released everywhere simultaniously. That sucks to be honest.
I'm gonna have to avoid the internet for a week now.

Does this mean I have to re-play all the game from the very start????
Can you at least add skip button in the dreams and not make me farm planets from the start?
Because I'll have to restart the saves of the game to see the extended cuts...

Let's hope this is marketing-speak to not spoil anything. But I am very apprehensive in approaching that ending again.

Hmm...a 20min. 720p video will run about 500MB right? so that's about 25MB per minute of video.
If we speculate a 5-10 min. video per "variation" depending on our choices...
1. Red
- 5 variations? (to match the "16" endings)
2. Blue
- 5 variations?
3. Green
- 5 variations?
= 15 * (5 to 10 min)
= 75 to 150 min
= 1.875 GB to 3.7GB
My bet is we get about 75-90min. worth of "scenes"/"dialog". Trying for all permutations may be a bit trying though...
Ugh...as jaded as I am with the whole franchise, I may just try to see what the hoopla is before giving final judgement.
Edit:

I'm really excited about this content. And for all of the ****ing that has been heard by the ME community, I think that having gotten all the content add-ons for no extra cost has been a real olive branch to the fans of this game.
We slam EA when they act like money grubbers, we should also have the decency to commend them when they do something for us...
So a big THANK YOU to both Bioware and EA for hearing the complaints, being sensitive to those and for responding in a pretty impressive fashion...
