Given the EC stuff kicks in at Kronos station (according to the FAQ), it's possible it does, as that's where your EMS is locked in for the ending

Btw, I'm looking at the video of the ECDLC and noted it has a label to warn against blood, partial nudity, sexual content, strong language and violence............ Pls tell me no developers were harmed in the making of this DLC.

"Its tough to let go of characters and storylines" wrong its easy when there is a real ending
"some people feared the worst, wasn't our intention" if the writing didn't suck this wouldn't have been assumed
"Answers some of the questions" does it answer the logical fallacies
"Xbox 2GB download limit" way to fail again microsoft
"Closure with the characters" this is great and all, but the overarching story was what was butchered the most
"Start a save from before the cerberus base" this is a decent sign at least that it goes a bit further back

so thats what I got out of that, I'll give it a shot since I bought on PC and I can't sell it anyway, but I have little faith it'll make up for what we already got or fix the true problems.

You have to load a savegame from before the attack on Cerberus Base. I don't remember well, this was the mission that set your ending depending on your galactic readiness? If so, I have to play multiplayer again to get the "good" ending? I don't wan to play multiplayer!

It's at no cost to the consumers, you know. The only reason you'd really have to wait is if you're running out of space on your applicable system's hard drive, or are dealing with bandwidth limitations.

Well obviously i wanted at least some changes to the endings but i've already accepted a partial improvement is all i could hope for after the EC was announced.
On the positive side i did like the mention of epilogues(hopefully not buzzesque in nature) and i did like the sound of them reflecting choices both big and small from all 3 games in the epilogues. Interesting to see how that will work. Still nervously hoping they will provide closure on the Shep lives ending properly.

Wow! great news. I'm glad some of the fans will get some closure on ME3, I think the ending was fine and doesnt need to be re-written, but I get some ppl need answers. I love the game and wouldnt change a thing. This is the best ME in my opinion. I still cant stop playing MP. Cant wait for the DLC

I'm not trying to bash Jessica at all, because we love her, but I really wish she hadn't been the one interviewing them. I would have preferred a source outside of Bioware to be the one asking the questions.

Overall it was difficult to listen to due to all of the hate and anger that has been built up surrounding Casey and Mac, but I did my best and I will patiently await the EC and judge it accordingly. Here's hoping for hte best.
