This extended cut is a lot like a joke told wrong the first time. You can try and tell it again with the correct punchline, but its just not going to be funny to the people who heard you flub it the first time.

Actually, I do. 

From what I've seen, the Priority: Cerberus HQ mission is kind of the "point of no return" for ME3, like going through the Omega relay in ME2.  That's why the post save is set to return there... because it allows you to gain experience/EMS from any future story DLC (and yes, Chris says it's planned) for the final push.

Well I just listened to that pod cast. My feelings on Casey Hudson have been upheld. The one smart PR move made by EA was gagging him. They gagged him for good reason.

Any save before the attack on the Cerberus Headquarters should do the trick

Honestly you'd think given the sheer amount of people this has upset that Hudson and Walters would be at least a little apologetic.

I don't know maybe I thought that after a couple of months to reflect they would've recognised where they went wrong and finally used this moment to try and show a little humility.

But no... makes me wonder if Pride Demons are actual things that exist.

Ok, that term their artistic vision consistently makes me want to vomit.  Since we all know the ending is a compilation of stuff taken from other sources, I see nothing truthful in that statement.  They could say it was their take on an oft-used theme (considered a lazy theme and one used way too often in stories rejected by publishers).  But, for the sake of accuracy, I can't trace a drawing someone else did of their cat Tigger, and say it's my artistic vision as if it was my original work.

I believe apologies clear the air and I believe talking to people begins to build burned bridges.  Allowing people who have stated a fierce love for your work product to be insulted and then doing so yourself is a slap in the face and one that needs to be addressed in order to begin to form a relationship again.

Continuing to state the same things again that we were already told would be in the EC indicates a lack of willingness to form that relationship.  You can't do it if one party isn't listening and isn't talking.
