2 gigs of content = I'm fairly excited about this.
I'm not. Especially after listening to the pat-yourself-on-the-back-for-a-job-well-done-podcast.
Hmm.
Made a game that the majority seem to agree was great up until the last five minutes- check.
Made a series that is loved by many- check.
Listen to and acknowlege criticism about the ending- check.
Make alterations to the endings based on the constructive feedback- check.
Give it to fans for free even though we've been berrating them nonstop- check.
Bioware cannot pat themselves on the back hard enough on this one.
As if they had any choice but to release it for free, had they tried to charge for this DLC, the sh!tstorm would've been twice as large. And I contest the third of your points until I actually see the DLC, all indications point to that they have not adressed it.
What they have utterly failed at is show some humility and communicate with their fans, they've bunkered up and now they're hoping for the best.

but still thanks bioware for at least doing something instead of just hoping we would all get bored and move on to other stuff

....Seriously?

I don't like interview though- no hard facts, only some... advertisements?
advertisements and a lot of "what we wanted to do with the Extended Cut was..." which i found highly amusing due to the fact that BioWare didn't think the Extended Cut was ever necessary and they didn't want to do an Extended Cut to begin with, they already thought the game was complete!!!

Am I the only one who thinks that the Extended Cut is going to be a bigger disappointment than the the original endings?
No you're not alone. Really this entire situation was foreshadowed with how Bioware handled Dragon Age 2 and ME Deception. Is it really safe to assume that given the amount of time they've had to create this EC content, that we should expect something enjoyable? Look at how they're presenting the EC; its like a carbon copy of the kind of salesmenship used to sell ME 3 to players.
I mean its free; so the cost/barrier to check it out is nil. But finishing the game and letting the entire experience settle, I felt incredibly underwhelmed. The ending sapped away any enthusiasm for a second playthrough. If the EC is good, then great, fanbase confidence is restored; I just don't expect that to happen. Not with the way this game turned out. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...

Caught me on the hop though, I have 3 days to do my complete replay of the game. Don't think my contribution to Operation Savage is gonna be too hot! :\\

1.9 gigs is nice but look at it this way minus off 500mb ish for pre ending scene stuff that leaves 1.2g divide by the 3 ending is 400 mb for each ending it now starts not getting so good.
but still thanks bioware for at least doing something instead of just hoping we would all get bored and move on to other stuff
Simple math :
Choose Control: game over, 50 mb?
Choose Synthesis: game over, 50 mb?
Choose destroy with high EMS: Continue the game, 1.8 gig.
You can thank me later if I´m right or take me down when I´m wrong.

Nope sadly according to Jessica on twitter, there is no 3D model of Talis face in the dlc.ojha18 wrote...

That would be rather hard I think. There are ways to make the ending worse, but I'm moderately confident that won't happen.Cerbrus operative wrote...

The EC will have at least:
*Closure for the characters
*Consequences of your major decisions shown
I can't see many ways how that can be worse than what we've got now. The big question for me personally is: will there be changes in the Catalyst conversation? If yes, the EC has the chance to be the big fix that saves the story. If not, then the ending will be better than before, but still an overall failure.
One way to make things worse than now would be to show in agonizing detail how utterly the galaxy is f*cked, but if they're going to do that, the fail meter will go off the scale. I can't believe they're *that* dumb after all the criticism they got for destroying the universe.

So as a PS3 user i have to wait a extra week? Ouch. That means no forums or contacts with spoileristic friends for a week. Is there a reason why it's a week as appose to the standard one day delay on the Europe PS3?
I've asked this about a dozen times already and have had silence in return.
Needless to say, don't expect a response.

Why is ps3 users in europe waiting a further week for it? Meaning i now cant look on here for a while, twitter, youtube or gaming websites. just an explanition would do
xbox pays bioware for a sooner release then ps3. xbox can do that because xbox owners pay for xboxlive.
Xbox for life! <3
