You'd be amazed.Kunari801 wrote...

I was trying to explain that to people since before the game was released over on that Space Edition spoiler group and the original ending thread. The level of refusal to believe that was nothing short of astounding. It ranged all the way from "Hackett would never give that order!" to "Joker would never leave, even if Hackett ordered him!" all the way straight through to "Joker didn't have time to run!".

From podcast: "... to fit into the 2-gig download limit for Xbox..."
I'm sorry to say, but it is just NOT cool that we PC users have to conform to, and be bound by, the limitations of console folks.
2 gigs is a huge download for an add-on DLC.

Spoiler maybe; The 4th picture on the announcement site looks like a "Shepard Funeral" in front of the Memorial wall on a crashed Normandy.
First one tells why Joker disengages during battle with Reapers- admiral Hackett orders.
That was obvious though...
Not exactly- we were seeing shpis fighting around Crucible seconds before firing- why Normandy is supposed to retreat while others are fighting?

People don't seem to quite get this. Just for the sake of comparison...STEEEEVE wrote...

Lair of the Shadow Broker was 1.52GB.
Arrival was 1.47GB, unless I'm mistaken.
Hell, ME3's installation altogether is 14-odd gigabytes.
This is a 1.9GB download that doesn't ostensibly include assets that run up DLC size like models, textures, or entire levels.

"Closure with the characters" this is great and all, but the overarching story was what was butchered the most
And weird...
It felt strange when the game pushed you back just exactly before the Cerberus base assault, and now the Extended Cut begins there, hmmm...

I hope that the crew can be reunited, especially if Shepard is alive.

Lair of the Shadow Broker was a great DLC with plenty of great content and it clocked in at 1.6 gigs, so I'm hopeful that the EC will have a generous amount of content...hopefully enough quality to reinspire multiple playthroughs.

So no matter what your view on the original ending, here's to no cramps in our fingers.
Hmmm, there was also something else...
Oh yes! A BIG, HUGE THANK YOU to everyone at Bioware who has worked tirelessly so that we can have more time to say goodbye to all the characters we love and adore!
This was a big surprise for me, as I wasn't expecting the Extended Cut to be here quite so soon. But I sure am excited and look forward to booting up my pre-Cerberus Base save with great anticipation.
Thank you guys! Now go use those vacation days that have been piling up. ;o)

Yeah man, wait for reviews. Wouldn't want to waste any money on that free DLC when you can be an internet hipster and act like you're too good for free content.

This time though, we might find out how and why events occured so that what happened, happened.
Top of the list, how did squadmates get on Normandy and why/where was Joker when he seemed to be running from the fighting.
