We shall see on Tuesday if the promise of the EC is realized in the way many of us had at first hoped.  I know that great minds worked on it, while I also know the podcast is kind of demoralizing.  I still hold out hope as I always have.

If it's not adding in more choices that have to (or at least should) be taken into account and impact on everything else, and doesn't add more combat (and hence a lot more level design which needs to work viewed from anywhere possible on the level) then hopefully it's been enough time.

What if I do not want to reload the save before the Cerberus Base to see The Extended Cut, am I able to Star NG + with My Main/Personal/Number One Shepard/Story and STILL see The Extended Cut? What if I say, "Forgot restarting that Cerberus Base Mission, and seeing the Ending again! I want to start NG + and work my way up to it?"

I have to admit that it coming out this soon (I was expecting an August release) added to the need to make it under 2gig for Xbox users frightens me a bit. I'm worried that I'll get just enough "clarity" to make me unable to stomach any of the endings (Right now I firmly believe that the brat was lying about destroy). Thus turning my "Closure" into closing the disk back into the case, deleting Origin, and bringing it to gamestop.

What we need is a Star Trek 2 Genesis device that will remake the galaxy and a Kahn mad as a hatter nutjob to fire it. Either that or let Vega near the button. he'd press the big shiny red button just to see what it does.........

Much of the original ending cutscene's involving Earth get's razed reminded me of Earth's fate in Robotech when it got bombed from orbit.

I'm soooooo disapointed we didn't get a romance based on one upmanship with him. His sparring session near the beginning was a character development moment I'd like to have seen more of.

Hated Vega at first, but the sparring session changed me.  He called my Shepard Lola-what does he call the male Shepards?   That was really something that helped define Vega as you say.

I think Allers should be there ready to get an interview from Shepard and Shepard should instead tell her the star brat wants to chat-that kid will run so fast for the nearest exit....it'll blow his programming all to hell.

Heh, still remember the days I eagerly waited to watch each episode as they aired. (original airings) and yes, revealing my age.

But, Macross / Robotech had a beautiful ending. True bittersweet moment as Minmay puts on a brave front while Rick and Lisa go on to help rebuild a Shattered world.
When a cartoon, okies, anime released in 1982 makes more sense then a western game, you know that game has serious logic issues.
