Honestly I am nervous, because the only thing I want to see is that the geth and EDI live if I choose destroy, and at first they said yes, now they say no. So now I am very confused. Yeah starchild will still be there and everything but I really hope that at the veryyy least EDI survives. I don't like the other two options at all, they are simply out of place. I will never choose control, because choosing control makes it all pointless to attack the Illusive Man and his team. And Synthesis is playing God, Shepard wouldn't do such a thing. I played through this franchise to see the reapers die, how can I all of a sudden spare them? But I have hope and faith for this EC at least on Destroy.

Nah, people will play, realize that not much more can be said, though there might be a few days of postings and a multitude of youtube vids, but in the end, for most who didn't care for it, will move on, and less will continue to contribute here since it is apparent that they (Bioware) are only interested in "yes man" contributions, aka "constructive feedback".

Of course there will be others (I include myself here) that are just going to lurk around in hopes to see something good comes out of all this.

I've never been this nervous to play a video game. All the time and money spent on this series over the past 5 years comes down to this. I don't see how it can get worse, but if there aren't substantial improvements in the EC then I'm done with the series and Bioware. I'd never thought that would be possible 4 months ago. *sigh*

I can tell it's affecting you, you're starting to talk in the third-person.

Taboo believes that success tomorrow will occur because of marketing techniques.

He also fears the opposite, that Bioware has truly lost their minds.

It's the internet,who cares...

BTW, sure they want a re write, but they are also stubborn in the fact that they have been told there wouldn't be a major change to the basis of the ending, they hoped with all the complaining this would happen, it didn't.
So now the question is...are they going to complain for the rest of their lives?Which in my opinion is useless once you know you cannot change the ending...

I mean it's like some people here enjoy to be angry,that or they have nothing else to do...I know this game touches people's hearts but if Bioware broke your heart then friends it's time to let go and move on.

But I guess that won't happen, just at it did with ME2, a year or more and people were still ****ing about this or that.

I am one of the few I guess which didn't find the ending so displeasing and was looking foward to the EC for closure.
Although I am a bit worried about the breath sequence and the rumour that that might have been changed so as to have Sheppard die, if that happens then I must say I'll be another one moving on.

i'd describe it more like this:

i feel like my ex gf of 5+ years that cheated on me sent me a text about 3 days ago saying she wants to come over to either apologize and talk things over with me or tell me to **** off because it was my fault that i didn't understand that she was unhappy. that being said, i won't even be around to open the door for her. i'll just get a buddy of mine to take pictures of her, standing there, looking stupid so i don't have to waste my time waiting at home for her, because i'll be out doing better things. and when i get those pictures?

i'll laugh.

It's not about enjoying anger, or having nothing else to do - or even suffering from a broken heart. I don't think it's even about the Extended Cut anymore, either. It's about generating enough smoke and fire to (try and) ensure that these mistakes will not be repeated in the future.
