Can I ask a question to the people who already downloades it? After the download, will it appear a savefile before the attack at Cerberus HQ? Because I don't have an autosave file now.
Otherwise, will a simple savefile before the attack be enough to access the extra content?

Ok I'm kind of answering myself, but for those who'd like to know... even if I'm kind of disappointed (not too much, I didn't expect huge changes), there really is hope at the end. Mostly concerning the mass relays and space ships.
I can play now, without fearing to cry again, like after my first playthrough.

I don't get what people don't understand about the endings.....did you not speak to Starchild... Did you "listen" to what he was saying??

He actually explains everything pretty clearly....Bioware did a good job....it actually makes Sense.....which was priority #1 for the EC.....sorry no babies or Tali's house.....

Oh....and I've always hated the endings with a passion.....hated them....past tense....no longer....people will complain just for the sake of complaining....

Why did you hate it in first place if not because you had (or still have to) believe in what someone/something that you just met says. I don't think that Shepard is that gullible to believe in someone/thing just like tha and thats the major issue i have with the endings. That the choises sucked was bad too, but if Liara or dunno Mordins ghost (or at least someone Shepard has connectet to and trusts) had said that this is the only way, then i wouldnt be that mad at all...

I hated it because it was abrupt, ambiguous, vague....and didn't make any sense....now, it is none of those things.....his explainations are believable....oh....and I rejected the choices.....I took the 4th option and died a free man....so, No....I didn't believe him....

You choose the same option i choose after i played me3 the first time. Im a little upset because it wasn't there in the first place...

It's all good man....no harm no foul....its the internet, anything can sound offensive. But I'll be honest....I accidently got this ending.....and I loved it....I'm gonna go do my Canon Shepard now....

My biggest issue besides the vague and abrupt endings, was StarBrat.....
1. That he takes the form of a kid I have no emotion towards(but whatever, I get the idea I suppose)

2. He didn't make any sense....

Well He makes sense now. Completely explains in detail everything I cared to know before the extended cut.....this is why I am very satisfied at the moment....

So sad that they couldn't have originally done something with rejection that made sense.  The war assets screen says chances are even at success, but since rejection does what it does that was a lie.  Of course we all knew options would still be there (neither they nor the star kid should have ever been), but at least one is now supposedly acceptable and as illogical as ever.  Oh, yeah and slideshows for the win.

And that's just what I want in my front yard-reapers killed my family, now clean up the mess.

That's not so obvious now with the destroy ending. The Normandy is not completely stranded, it flies again. And with Shepard breathing (even if I would have preferred a really happy rainbow ending with my Shep in Kaidan's arms), the future is full of possibilities and hope.

So, even if I'm not completely happy with everything, I have to say that I am quite satisfied.

I just watched Synthesis. I mean it looks and sound great. But its just too easy to make *peace* with everything just like that. At the slideshow...i only saw Husks.

EDIT: I find it amusing that you can theoreticly have more EMS with mp promotions than the entire galaxy united. Yes, these promotions are like united forces of all advanced species. But still, if i don't play mp they just don't exist? (or die) And if i play i can theoreticly create an ultimate army that could cover the whole earth with troops of Promoted mp Special Ops? At least, its funny because the only op person in ME is Shepard, because he is controlled by the Players. Wouldn't that mean that the Promoted mp Special Ops are as op as Shepard?

Okay. I just saw the Synthesis ending and well, I shed huge, manly tears. Mostly because of Liara. And we get a new "reject the AI/Catalyst" ending to boot. Anyway, it isn't everything I'd hoped for, but it is an acceptable compromise. Faith restored. Well done, Bioware and thank you.

I play on the PC and have a save that lets me start right after the harbringer laser  (Restart: The Citadel or something like that).  If all the new content begins at that point, why can't I use that save instead of starting over at the Cerberus Base?
