Oh FFS. Does he even live in the same universe as the rest of us?
Closure? Really?
Nope. We wanted an ending that took all of our choices into account and that also wasn't ****.

Spoiler maybe; The 4th picture on the announcement site looks like a "Shepard Funeral" in front of the Memorial wall on a crashed Normandy.
I too noticed this. I hope that this is just ONE of the posibilities... Oh I'm going to be so furious if my Shep does not survive at all and get reunited with LI.
It's not funeral (although Shepards funeral is possible, sure)- it's list of names of Normandy crew which died during missions- they're "only" paying homage to fallen.
A scene that would probably cut to your Shepard's name added to the wall of the fallen. That seems pretty logical to me. Also in the images we see Joker and the rest of the fleets being ordered by Hackett to flee the Sol system. At least thats what I think I can make out in the subtitle on the screen.
Well that's two problems down. Joker fleeing will make sense and now your Squad and LI mourns Shepard's death like they should.
I'm going to have an open mind, it will either all make sense or not. If they can't do it with this then time to just let it go. But After listening to the interview it seems the team did listen to us and took the criticism seriously.
Anyway Tuesday it is.

I have nothing to be mad about. Except, of course, the impending failure of the EC.
That means you DO have something to be mad about...

Indeed it does. But soon we shall all be mad. But the ITers will be thoroughly depressed.
That will be satisfying unconditionally.

Nah. Many of them aren't nearly as feeble-minded as you've ever-so-critically framed them to be, sir.

Wait, is it only 4th of July for PS3 in Europe? Or 4th of July for Europe in general?
Just for PS3 in Europe. It's worldwide on June 26 for PC and XBox.

We slam EA when they act like money grubbers, we should also have the decency to commend them when they do something for us...
So a big THANK YOU to both Bioware and EA for hearing the complaints, being sensitive to those and for responding in a pretty impressive fashion...

Me too
The strange thing is that all this feels like a fight in a relationship. A long relationship that at this point might end badly. And now I'm just walking around in a limbo waiting for the answer. God damn it! FRUSTRATING. As I said before, I'm going to be really hurt, angry and extremely heartbroken if my FemShep does not reunite with Liara.

So Hackett is the yellow coward instead of Joker. I suppose that's one way to solve a problem.

Honestly I think one of the things they will change is that they will delete the "Shepard gasping for air" scene from the destroy ending. I am pretty sure they will make it be so Shepard is dead no matter what. Also Jennifer Hale had said before that she never got any invites from BW to come back for more Ending stuff (albeit that interview was a few months ago so something could have changed).
However I still am pretty sure they will probably delete that little scene with Shepard breathing in the rubble.
That would be changing the endings. It would also negate the fact they've confirmed they 'tweeking' the EMS so that that ending is easier to obtain for non-MP players. They'd be a bit pissed if they finally get it and it doesn't matter, Shepard's dead (not to mention how pissed all the other people who got the ending will be). Not a smart way to go.

I hope Bioware doesn't cater to those who MUST have their happy ending or I, among many, will be even more disappointed than we already are.HinduCowGirl wrote...

I'm doing both, cause i'm cool like that, how does a ten dollar expansion to one of the buggiest games in history beat free content to a game that was really good minus the ending? btw i loved skyrim, i only stopped when i had completely left the map empty of all resources and quests, but im still an ME fan first and foremostPantegana wrote...

Yeah, I think I might just watch the EC on youtube while playing Dawnguard.
LOL that's exactly what I intend to do
I don't know, I used to love "the style" of both ME and DA:O, but they've screwed them both.
Since I don't have all the freetime in the world I have to manage it properly and triage "casualties", ME3:EC will undoubtedly be a casualty.

Hopefully they expanded the Priority Earth mission.Blacklash93 wrote...
Also just to remind everyone there could still be expanded scenes and dialogue during the Cerberus Base mission and onwards and not just after the original ending. The fact we see Hackett telling Joker to disengage from the Earth battle seems to imply there will be.

Looks like Spec Ops: The Line might sit unopened on my shelf for a couple days, I have to get one of my playthroughs to the end.
