That quote (for me) has already put the EC on a bad note. I understand them not rewriting the endings (resources, artistic whatever) but if the fleet stayed in the Sol system, why must the Normandy leave? Someone seriously needs to sit the writers down and talk about continuity

Really nothing  Bioware does will ever make me  take them seriously anymore...especially if the man  in said picture name is attached to the project.

Aaaand with that screencap and subtitle, out goes any hope of this being decent. A small part of me hoped their description was a case of "under sell, over deliver", but nope. By the looks of it, we're getting exactly the BS "artistic integrity" we were promised; trying to explain this hilarious clusterf**k instead of admitting they screwed up. Well, I'll at least youtube it.

But being that Jennifer Hale and Mark Meer are in the EC, Shepard has to survive right.... right?

It doesn't necessarily mean that. The EC experience starts right at the cerberus base part according to Casey Hudson, so there is plenty of dialogue inbetween that and the ending itself where shepard could have gotten more lines
