Second to left looks like Ashley (or Traynor).  If it's Ashley, then it's not Kaiden.  It's a tough one to tell.  He's holding something in his hands, whoever it is.  Seems the focus is on them.  Makes me lean Shepard.

These are untextured models, may very well be placeholders for all possible characters in the scene depending on who lives/dies that will be invincible in the real game. Having Ash & Kaidan together in the screen ain't anything weird, this is in-developement/engine side, not the real thing

When I picked Control she walked out.

When I reloaded and picked Destroy she didn't.

She walked out when I picked destroy...

Check that out. You can see the main cast. Liara, Garrus, Tali, EDI, Joker, Ashley, and male Shepard, standing before the memorial wall on Normandy. I guess they are having a silent moment in memory of the fallen.

Joker's tears over EDI will be sweet.

This. They wouldn't make two seperate scenes for both Kaidan and Ashley. Instead, they make the same scene in UDK(real-time) with both characters, in which they either render Kaidan or Ashley(Depending on who survived).

Pretty sure its the 8 squadmates, not 7 squadmates and Shepard (although obviously Ash and Kaidan wouldn't be there at the same time). Edit - the closest one looks like Joker, and Javik is nowhere to be seen.

Given the apparent disrepair of the Normandy, I'm guessing this is after the crash. I was hoping that would be removed, but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

There are 9 individulas in the picture. I am not sure who two of them are. The one holding something in front (maybe Kaiden) and one in the back (can only see feet)

I'm pretty sure in this picture most of the crew is gathered around putting Shepard's name on the memorial. I don't know what to think of this. I really want a Shepard survives scene of him emerging from rubble with "From the Wreckage" playing, that would be really really great.

That was the terms that some of the "professional" gaming journalists used to describe the reaction to the ending.  Because kidnapping and hurting someone because you didn't like their ending is totally the same as voicing your problems and refusing to buy more of that company's products. <_< Then again, it came from people whose sites receive ad revenue from the publishers, so it's not surprising.
