It came to my mind that despite the elves having their own casters (keepers), there is no possibility of such an origin. It would be nice to start play as the new keeper of the youngest dalish tribe. After being ambushed by darkspawns, we could get rescued by wardens and recruited since you would be the sole survivor of the tribe.

It would also be a new view on casters that live outside the the supervision of the chantry and the circle.
