Hey all, I am rolling a dual wield warrior(obvious from title), and was looking for opinions on the best armor sets for him.  I was thinking legion of the dead, but am up for suggestions.  Also any sets that are just fun to find all the pieces, or unique items and such are welcome.

Warden's Commander set is pretty good if you have the DLC.

In my experience, the Warden Commander set is the best massive armor, but I haven't tried them all yet. I would put Wade's Superior Dragonbone Plate as 2nd (1st if you're fighting dragons, obviously) and the Dead Legion set 3rd (but 1st for looks!)

I second the comment about the Warden Commander armour. It's brilliant. Very high amounts of protection, bonuses to critical damage, mana, resistances... and when worn as a set your health goes up and your fatigue goes down. And it looks cool. And it doesn't need a helmet.

Since I invested all points to dexterity and cunning with minimal strength and constitution, I am on a pickle now what to use before venturing out. But I guess I can go for Wade's at any level since I found out in two other runs that equipping Leliana made her survive even the hardest fights.

As a DW warrior you did that for stats?

Not me!  Sounds like he is rolling a rogue.  I did get my dex up so I could use dual full sized weapons, the rest us strength, and a few const.

But looks are more important than anything so

Legion of the dead armor > All other massive armor

On my 2H Warrior I wore it even knowing its statistically lacking compared to some other sets

On my Templar it drove me nuts that I had to wear that silver armor with a dam dress on it but I did it anyway but hated that playthrough

I had a Dwarf dual wielding Warrior who fought in a loincloth as he believed armours were for sissies. Since he was a bad tempered fellow I never told him the helmet, the gauntlets and the boots he wore were actually parts of an armour set.

Well that's subjective. Legion of the Dead looks nice, but on my Grey Warden the Warden Commander armour makes him look like a real, serious battlemage, while the legion of the dead armour makes him look like a beetle. Humerous, but not what I go for. I gave them to Oghren. The fact that Warden armour craps all over other stuff is a bonus.

I mean, I chose a silverite Crow Dagger over all other daggers because I liked the shortsword-like style and the hilt. I suppose I customised it with runes, though.
