This thread is to discuss how the EC may or may not treat the ME2 characters. We know that they'll be given some love somewhere in the 10 plus EC content. However, we don't know if they'll just be standing in the background, or have speaking roles, or will be non-speaking characters. Or in Thane's case, have a mention, or a funeral.

So what do you guys think? What do you expect you'll get?

Were any voice actors for ME2 squadmates brought back for the EC? Any lack of confirmation that certain actors were brought back would probably be the biggest indication that their roles in the EC will be small or nonsexistant.

I know Jack's VA said she couldn't comment on it. I don't know if that has changed.

AFAIK, only Hackett, EDI, the VS, and Garrus are coming back. Since Garrus is coming back, I'd reckon Tali is as well.

I highly doubt the ME2 characters are goign to get any face time. If ME3 is any indication, Bioware doesn't give 2 damns about them.

I figured as muich, since Ali Hillis wasn't brought back for the EC either. And of course she voiced a character that was a full squadmate. That might also not bode well for Liz Sroka. (Tali's VA)

It may just be that it is Hackett, EDI, the VS and Garrus.

Well, Ali I don't think has commented. Though that doesn't surprise me. She was very secretive of her involvement in ME3 in the beginning, even though we already knew she was involved since the E3 demo.

I don't expect much. Dialogue and face time are what satisfies us as fans, and I don't have any reason to expect dialogue or face time. I expect the ME2 LI's will appear in the flashback and we may get some information about what happened to them.

Ali Hillis won't be back? Damn, if Liara won't have any extra dialogues let alone ME2 characters. Sad about Liara, it's an absurd that EDI and the VS will have extra dialogues but not her.

Only because they're tied to 2 of the largest plot points in the franchise.

Also, 2 out of a cast of 10 ME2-borne characters is hardly a representation.

I've been keeping low expectations for the EC, but I'm almost willing to bet money that they won't kill another romancable character. They've already dealt with a giant ****storm, I don't think Bioware's suicidal enough to alienate another LI's fans to stay true to their artistic vision.
