When a disease is Terminal and in the stages that he was in, a cure won't do much.
You aren't just magically "cured".
One does not simply get over something.

The genophage was also considered terminal, they were cured.

In all seriousness, Baldur's Gate 2 was the last Bioware game that I can recall that did not plateau romantic character relationships after sexy-times. Though, allowing that to happen with Aerie actually ends the relationship badly (something they haven't done since) it is at least not "Yay, sex! all is good afterwards!"

It reduces birth rate. A terminal illness is something like stage four cancer.
Terminal means it KILLS the one it affects. All the adult Krogan are fine.
It IS technically Genocide though, as limiting birth rates like that is considered as such.

Yes. The fetus. It doesn't cure someone that is terminal. It cures the possibility of someone becoming terminal.
Yes?

Those fetuses die because the disease mess with them during development, that's terminal, they can't do anything about it. Thane can live, he just doesn't care if not romanced.

That's what I just said. It prevents things from becoming terminal because the disease is no longer there...
