This...this boggles my mind.  First off, I am not a Talimancer and have never really gotten into her character...but I was considering it after seeing vids of the great writing for the Tali romance in ME3.  But it would have required what I assumed would be a given - that Bioware would deliver on this basic piece of fan-service.

Seriously, how hard could this have been?  Fans have already made it clear that they care more about a quality reveal than what Tali specifically looks like, so it really makes me wonder why Bioware couldn't put this relatively small piece of content into the EC.  I am literally confused; I don't understand.

I'm hoping this won't get locked, but I figured I would share.  If Bioware doesn't think it's important to add this into the EC - the perfect opportunity for them to make up of their photoshop mess - what else didn't they think it was important to add?

I was SURE they were going to add this.  And I hate being wrong.

Don't see its important to explain things that don't make sense and are unable to be explained away, but not important to model a main character's face that everyone wants to see?

Not giving your customers what they specifically asked for and you promised is art. Duh.

Maybe instead of a model we will get a still frame of some well done drawing of her face. Anything but the PhotoShop and is be happy.

It just doesn't make sense. It would have been a way to generate enormous goodwill with comparatively little effort.

I'm not even mad, I'm just flummoxed.

I can't say i'm surprised, but I am still a bit disappointed since I thought they would consider doing that at the very least.

You might be misunderstanding me - it has nothing to do with me only being interested in romancing somebody when I know what they look like.  I just felt that the reveal - especially if done on rannoch - was what was needed to cap off her character's narrative perfectly.  Especially with all the scenes where she takes off her mask...

My complaint isn't in not knowing what she looks like, it's in what I see as a missing piece of narrative.

That's discouraging, but I can't say I'm surprised. I'm a Talimancer but her face in game wasn't on the top of the list for me for EC.

I'm kind of surprised as well that this was not fixed either. As one of the statements made during the announcement was that one of the purposes of the EC was to give the fans a better chance for closure with their squad mates. Silly me figured this one would be a no brainer. How is that you can give the fans more closure with their squad when Tali is so generic, and it seemed that this one photo generated a fair amount of anger from the ME3 community at large. Really is it that photo shop image of her like some new age art I just don't get? I don't want to infringe on their artistic integrity. But really? Oh well I guess in the next DLC that we pay for it will have it, gotta dangle the carrot, right?

I'm not surprised, and honestly, that's not a concern with this DLC. The ending NEEDS to be fixed. Tali's face, while disappointing in execution, is not game breaking like the endings.

Still boggles my mind at how little effort I imagine it would take.

Right then. In this short little fact, the Extended Cut has no value (for me, anyway) and was a complete wasted opportunity from an otherwise stellar developer.

Remember. You can explain why you took a dump on my couch, but it doesn't change that you took a dump on my couch. And BioWare; you took one massive dump on my couch.

There is that picture of the EC with the Geth and a Quarian who appears to be unmasked.

I wouldn't say that the EC has no value - I expect that the endings will at least be improved in several ways. I just don't see why Bioware is holding on so steadfastly to their decision to take the "middle road" on the tali face reveal by showing it via picture.

I was expecting that they would map the face they created from the stock photo onto a 3d model. And I would've been ok with that.
