Yes. I expected that the company that brought me Shadows of Amn, KOTOR, DA:O, ME1, and ME2 would be able to add a *minor* piece of content to the EC - reveal could have been on Earth, even - that would have generated an enormous impact. It's not so much that *I* am dying to see this in the game, but I know that so many fans are - and I think this is indicative of just another major disconnect on Bioware's part.
Tali's face will not be modeled in the EC, confirmed.

This is becoming a misnomer. Those were different people working on thsoe games. Still BioWare just different studios.

Consider the source here. Unless I'm mistaken, Jessica Merizan is not part of the dev team and moreover has been known to issue statements that turn out to be inaccurate.
She's played the EC multiple times today, unless she lied about that.

Bud, I wish, oh how I wish, but it's just not there, whatever spark of brilliance they had has been extuingished, and now they're just another cog in the machine...
There were so many things that I wanted to see in this game; I would've paid good money, and waited another year or 2 without question, but here we are, and it's not going to get better...

I think the Quarian's face is kept in obscured profile intentionally, even if we do get to see a glimpse of a nose. I doubt it, though - if they were willing to do a 3D model for a generic Quarian, they would have done one for Tali.

Pretty much. That picture is about as close as we're likely to get to seeing a rendering of any Quarian.

Is it just me, or have they been in love with using the multiplayer models for everything lately?

For some reason I can't seem to link to specific tweets, only twitter pages. You can scroll down though and find it pretty easily (ctrl+F; search "no it will not").

Tali's design itself was great to me; I didn't want her to be very alien. But the photoshop was lazy, and Bioware knows it. The hand was simply unacceptable

Sort of, but the MP model is just carried over from SP

But it is a big deal to a lot of people (and I'm not really one of them, though I would have liked to see it). My main point is just that Bioware missed a huge opportunity that could have been really easily capitalized on. They could have done something big with this DLC (not too big, unfortunately, thanks to antequated XBOX 2gb download limits...thanks console gamers), but it seems they chose to play it safe. I don't even think there would have been that much risk in doing a face reveal at this point, even if the model wasn't perfect - I think a lot of fans would have just been happy to see it at all.
It's interesting that so many don't find this surprising. Given that...
1. Bioware needs to generate goodwill among fans to sell future DLC
2. A great way to generate goodwill is through fan-service
3. Tali's face has been a sticking point among fans right up there with the endings and day 1 dlc
= adding a 3d model face reveal would have generated significant goodwill and increased the overall positive view of the EC.
I'm still cautiously optimistic about the dlc as a whole, it's just that the decision not to include this obvious piece of fan-service makes me wonder what else they decided not to include. They keep saying they're listening, but they keep acting like they're wearing earplugs.
