Trying to acquire the Staff of Parthalan and Hindsight, but when I submit my EA account information for the newsletters I receive the "Newsletter signup currently unavailable" message.
Does anybody know if they no longer offer the bonus items or if the newsletter is permanently down?

Happens to me too! I want this item so badly for my female mage Hawke, but I get the same error. 'Tis probably not available anymore. I'd suggest looking for some kind of mod to get something similar, or contact Bioware to get a more clear answer to the matter.
