Well Tuesday i'll be out of town on an over-night camping trip with the better half, so I guess i'll prepare by eating smores and trying to score?

There isn't really much for me to prepare for, i'm pretty much over the series and at this point I just want to see how BioWare tries to "clarify" their ending for us culturally bankrupt plebs.

I'm going to spend the day working outside in 100+ degree heat (which I have to do anyway) ... because it will probably still be more exciting/fun than the EC.
Then I'm going to come home, drink an ice cold Rolling Rock and eat some cold chicken, and decide whether to download the EC or just have fun playing Borderlands/Skyrim.

I might go into it and deaden my senses. I'm confused mostly, to be honest with the forum.
I know it's a story and it's not real (yes I have very real problems in my own life) I do love the game, the worlds and most of all it's characters. So, why put myself through such a ****ty ending again? No, I'll go into it thinking the same thing will happen, cause that is what is happening. Maybe I'm just hoping that it will just make sense.
Afterwards, I'll take my niece out for ice cream and carry on.

 By watching this fan trailer

And hope against hope that EC ends similarly for my Shepard, hanging out with Ash, Jack, Garrus, and even Aria

Likely beer, lots of beer - like James Rolfe before he reviews a game.

Screw around in Skyrim to get ready for Dawnguard, play a few rounds of MP with my friend, maybe stay up till release and nap while the EC downloads.

I'll prepare myself by trying to block out my pre-existing hatred of the endings so I can see the Extended Cut within bias. I don't expect it to work, but I may as well try to enjoy it (even though I garuntee I won't)

I do not feel the need or desire to emotionally prepare myself for such a trivial form of entertainment. I deeply hope however that the few cutscenes we will experience tomorrow will not shatter your delicate hearts.

 Dear Benrosan

Thank you for the comment, and I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy day to reply to me. I for one understand how emotionally draining complaining about a 10 minute sequence of a video game can be, I find it quite unerstandable that you could become so emotionally invested in a form of entertainment. I myself was a huge fan of the Brady Bunch back in the day, I would tune in every day to catch the latest show and when it finally came to an end I too would have complaind for months on end on their forums, unfortunatly at the time they had no social networking site for me to vent my irrational grief.

I must detest to your notion that I am a bad ass however,  my ass is in no way bad. I do plenty of cardio and make a conscious effort to consume at least one banana a day. This has ensured that my buttocks has remained in top physical form.

Not sure if missing the point on purpose or just stupid

Dear Mahrac

You are simply confused, I have adressed all of his points in a precise manner. I recognize that you may have missed this though, my friend Ryan is a clinical psychologist and has informed me on numerous occasions that grief often causes people to miss obvious details that they would normally have no problem recognizing under normal circumstances.

I'll prepare myself by:

1.) Reminding myself it can't possibly get any worse

2.) Read reviews and watch youtube clips before playing it myself.

I'm not going to be burned again by Bioware.

Also, I will remind myself that whatever the outcome of the EC, at least we stuck it to all the trolls at IGN and Gamespot who so vehemently defended the principle of artistic integrity.

I've been wasted all day, and I'm going to be even more wasted tomorrow. Either celebratory wasted, or re-opened wound wasted.

EDIT - Oh, and my boyfriend promised to have a pizza party with me. So I'll be heavily self-medicated on pizza, beer, boyfriend, and ME3 tomorrow.
