I'm going to try and download it tomorrow from the US store and hope it's not region locked. If it is i'll probably youtube it. I'm not going to miss a weeks discussion of the extended edition just because i was dumb enough to buy a PS3 instead of a Xbox.

It's not like we purposefully said "Oh, European PS3, we'll launch that a week or so later just for kicks". That's not how it works.

1. You knew that it takes longer to go through certification on EU PSN, you still didn't send it in time.
2. When you found out that EU would be delayed you said "Okay, let's screw the EU PS3 players (again)" rather than release it simultanously. If you had come out in the initial announcement and said "We will release it worldwide July 3rd-4th no one would have known any difference.

"UK PS3 games are usually compatible with AUS PSN Store DLC"

Might be worth a shot as Aus gets the DLC on the 26th too, Just make sure to:

"...check the BLES codes on your game case against the ones on the PSN Store before you download."

most of the time, psn isnt considerate to give out info on what bles code the dlc works for

judging on dlc like map packs for mw, where it works on both aus and uk versions, after you buy it you can download all the dlc for each bles code for all the PAL versions

as for me3 i dont think ea puts out multiple versions for each bles code to choose from, you only get your specific regions bles code dlc

if that makes any sense

Well i just tried and downloaded and installing the rebellion multiplayer expansion from PSN US without any problems with regional lock. Hopefully this will work for the EC as well.

@cstaf: that's very good news though maybe it worked since it is out already in Europe. Fingers crossed.

Definitely gonna try and download the US store DLC and see if it's compatible later today.

Unless it's already proven to not work. :|

Is it me or is it some kind of sick joke that the UK release date for DLC is Independence day, delayed a week by SCEE I find that hard believe, how come every other gaming company, included DICE can release DLC in europe the day after the states, I call MS bs on this

Did anyone get theirs to work from the US PSN?Or did you all just watch the videos on youtube?

EC from US PSN (abbreviation frenzy!) doesn't work with non-US games. So in short: we'll have to wait until IndependEC Day.

Thanks for letting me know. Saves me the trouble of creating another account, which I was about to do when you replied.

Thought about doing that myself, but was afraid it would screw up the automatic PS+ cloud services.

Well, there's always multiplayer. And alcohol. And Euro 2012!

I wasted three hours of my life on trying the US version of the DLC just to get the old **** ending again, all the way I kept thinking the new stuff must start now, seriously I am just considering getting the 720 instead of PS4 when they come out.

I managed to get it to work yesterday, though I don't know why it's not working for others. I'm in Australia, used a US account to get the actual DLC. Didn't have any saves in that account so played Citadel:return mission using my usual Hong Kong account (bought my game from overseas online) on a whim. Imagine my surprise when new cutscenes start ^_^

2 gigs worth of ME3 dlc appears in my game data storage on every psn account so that might explain it, though I have no idea how these things work. Even though others here were confirming that it doesn't work I just refused to wait another week haha. B)

Hong Kong, although that obviously works fine on my ps3 in Australia, I would imagine the supposedly region locked online content from the US shouldn't register on my Hong Kong psn account or a non-US copy of ME3...

Well that's great news, maybe there is still hope for my poor European ps3.

Pretty annoyed about this. European PS3 owners seem to always get the raw deal - remember Awakening was released on disc on every other format, and on the PS3 in every other region, but EU PS3 owners had to download it from the PSN at an inflated price.

I am from Germany, & Xbox version of EC is launch on same day. Voice over is in German (just as the main game), so its definitely for us European players.

When Bioware announced that they are making a new space opera RPG (not base on star war) & it is to be exclusive to Xbox, the choice is clear to me. :)

Never ever regret my decision to buy xbox & play the entire series on it. But I guess many people who played on PS3 may be late to the Bioware ME party.

I do Feel for you guys (PS3 players).
