Last night I started up the ME3 multiplayer for the first time. I was informed by a friend that there's a big event this weekend and so if I don't have a Krogan or a Vorcha character, I can expect to be kicked from a lot of games. His advice was to check my recuit pack and see if I lucked out on a character of one of those two races. I got a Turian Sentinel (still pretty cool, I like Turians, so not gonna complain about that). I happened to have 240 Bioware points lying around in my account, so I thought I'd purchase the Spectre pack and see if I got lucky with any rares (If not something useful for the event then at least something cool, like an Asari biotic). I spent the points and then my connection dropped out for a moment.
...I think you can guess where this is going. The points have been deducted from my account, but the cards and their hypothetical contents have not materialised either in the store or my character setup screen. I wouldn't mind if the Bioware points I spent didn't represent actual money. Is it possible to get some sort of help with this? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Just saw this-pretty much identical thing happened to me. Pretty poor, nothing on outstanding purchases upon logging back into MP either.

Forever un-Krogan

Owch, sounds like it was worse for you, Ryu, my purchase was only 240 points, so not nearly as large a chunk of money. Still I would like some sort of response. I mean, paying for something and not getting the item is...well I'm pretty sure it's illegal.

Could we get a response on this, Bioware, or do I have to chase down emails and waste all of our time to get this rectified?

Has happened to me before. You have to call their phone line (1-866-543-5435) and half the time you get someone who says you post on forums and there is nothing they can do. But, you paid money, they have a legal obligation. Get a supervisor on the phone, or demand one call back. If you get someone who is reciting the "can't do anything about it", just remember it becomes fraud when they know of an issue and do not attempt to fix it. Some of the people there actually do try to solve problems, thank God for them. But, you have to be assertive and realize you have a legal right. Do you realize that if enough people were to mark credit card transactions with them as fraud or failed to deliver then the credit card companies would begin to decline all transactions to them? A few of them realize this, you have to get through to those individuals though. They have some good people, but about half the first layer is designed to deny expenses.

That's some good advice, .458. I'll have a look to see if there's a specific number for european enquiries.
I hate the Bioware points system. It feels like a huge ripoff way of making you spend more than you need to, and getting around issues with payment like this. I have never had my money taken without getting the goods with any payment system online that featured just paying straight from my card. I won't be surprised if they use it as a way to worm out of getting into trouble if I call them because I was technically paying for Bioware points, not for the actual goods. ¬_¬
