mass relays are intact
no motives behind the reapers, let them stay unknown
no stranded Normandy (probably depending on EMS)
Shepard and crew reunion

Probably, I would be happy with just mass relays.

Either remove the starchild or let Shepard point out the flaws in his logic. Unfortunately, I know neither of those will happen...

Also, I'm disgusted by how many people here just want to see Shepard alive with crew/LI and that's all it'll take to make them happy. Talk about treating the symptom instead of the disease...

Having the option to tell the Catalyst he's insane and malicious, and Eff Off - even if that means everyone dies and the Reapers win.

Bare minimum that NEEDS to happen for me:

FTL travel is shown to be fast enough to keep galactic civilisation going, even if it takes months, or even up to a year or two to get across the galaxy. None of this 'Dark Age' 'Galactic Wasteland' nonesense, that would make every choice, action and decision we made pointless.

The Nomandy crew gets rescued. In the best Destroy ending Shepard needs to be reunited with them.

Would make things actually bearable for multiple playthroughs:

Showing that the Reapers were wrong in every ending. The entire organic and synthetic life cannot coexist thing was already proven to be wrong, let's not pretend the giant retarded genocide machines were anything other than monstrous abominations by acting as if their baseless beliefs were valid.

Don't even bother trying to explain or justify synthesis. It's space magic, based on Mac Walters complete ignorance of science and logic. If someone likes the basic idea of it, great, but it's so moronically stupid and laughably wrong that it's just going to be embarrassing to see any attempt to 'clarify' it.

Pipe dream, and it's so pathetic that I consider something so simple as being as likely to come true as wishing for money to spontaneously appear in my hand:

EDI and the Geth are either able to survive Destroy with a high enough EMS, or are reactivated after.

Not much, but I have little hope any of it will happen.

If the Crew get rescued, and Mass Effect as we know it, roughly, continues to exist as a fictional Universe, then I can at least live with the end, and won't have to trade in all 3 games and sell all the merchandise I bought over the years.

Personally, I would be content with destroy as long as it shows my shepard living and explains that the normandy crew is rescued and reunited with Shep.

I know its lame, but I just want at least 1 "Happy" ending.

I dont think its too unreasonable to ask, do you? (I'm willing to live with no mass relays etc, just let my Shep "win")

Normandy crew being rescued and reunited with Shep will change the ending, They are not changing the ending.

Something that won't happen.

This franchise needs a damn reboot with no Casey and Walters.

Scrapping the heroic saccrifice would make me extra double super happy. I hate it. I'm sick of it. The idea of the heroic saccrifice needs to heroically sacrifice itself as a way to end a story, becuase it's tired and old and devicive. HATE IT. x.x

Since it looks like we're stuck with the catalyst, nothing is going to make me happy.

That ending is stupid, poorly written and laughable. And no amount of "clarification" is going to make me say, "oh hey, synthesis is awesome now!"

So while ME3 is always going to have an embarrassing finale, I could at least feel a twinge of satisfaction in the following instances:

At the end of high-EMS destroy, Shepard lives and reunites with their LI and the crew.

I need to reiterate: this isn't all I want, nor is it what I personally asked for when BW asked for feedback. But because the game's ending is broken, laughable and pretentious, the ONLY way I can feel victorious is if I survive.

In Dragon Age: O, my Warden willingly sacrificed herself at the end and I thought it was awesome. It's not that I have a problem with my hero dying - it's just that committing suicide for some "greater good" deus ex machina crap isn't my idea of going out like a hero.

So yes, Shepard and LI at the end of Destroy. No, it doesn't fix the mess but it could just give me enough satisfaction to know that I won (no matter how anticlimactically) and lived.

Happy? This is not something I can feel as a Scotsman.

Honestly though, if they re-unite Shep with the Normandy crew and some sort of actual information about the state of the galaxy ala DA:O. Some actual groundwork for proper speculation of the good sort.

This. So long as there's a choice to save, repair or rebuild the relays I'll be happy

Since blue babies, building a home for Tali and so on are very unlikely to be part of the EC:

Squad Reunion, blue babies, house on Rannoch, adopting Quarian babies, adopting Turian babies, that sort of thing.
A satisfied feeling

Suicide mission esque final mission with more drama and boss fight against harbinger. As well as an actual face for tali not this 'draw lines on some chick's face hyuk hyuk'. I heard they arent going to show tali's face in EC and thats a shame, but that was expected. Makes me kind of glad they didnt commit to that embarrasing photoshop

I don't know content wise.

But emotionally I want that rush of euphoria that sense of satisfaction that happens whenever I beat a game. ME1 and ME2 had it DAO had it. Even DA2 had it. Old school games Zelda, Breath of fire, Dragon quest, hell even Mario games all ended and left me feeling a sense of achievement and accomplishement. I was a hero I beat the game I win. Yay me.

I want that. How Bioware delivers it is up to them. But that is what I want from the EC.

As a lot of other have said, reunion with LI and crew. Would let me accept the ending at least. Still won't be a good ending, but I'll overlook it.

Answers to surface-level concerns. And enough emotional gratification for everyone else so they'll stop attacking others.

As long as it's satisfying and reflects on their oft-preached love for the lore, I really don't care otherwise.

1. Shepard reuniting with crew and LI
2. Geth live through destroy ending with high enough EMS (because if EDI and Shepard live, why not the geth?)
3. Intergalactic trade, government, and travel are all viable. With travel only taking a little longer than a relay jump
