Tali will not have a rendered face in the EC, confirmed by Jessica Merizan yesterday via twitter (sorry no link, but you can go to her page and scroll down/use ctrl +F and search for "no it will not").

no real tali face, no harbinger fight, only 10 minutes (10 minutes are they trolling us?)

this EC is sounding more and more like nothing the more I hear about it.

I'd also be quite content with them debunking or confirming the indoctrination theory, but it's already been said that they'll be leaving that open for speculation.

If Bioware use it as an excuse to make a 4th game (which I see as likely, given the company that owns them), they can go to hell. I won't be buying it, that's for damn sure.

There's nothing they can do to make their ending good. Acceptable is the best they can hope for, but I'm at least optimistic about that.

Pretty much this.  Unfortunately, if this is all it does, then I'll be returning the game June 27.  Hoping against hope they go above my expectations.

No matter what they clarify or how they expand it, it still comes down to having to choose one of three colors from a deus ex machina to stop the reapers. Each choice still goes against everything that my Shep fought for. No boss fight vs Harbinger, no choice to say "I think we'll handle it our way", either I kill off my new synthetic friends or turn everyone into robomen against their will, etc... In the end, a 10 min clarification won't make me happy.

I appreciate Bioware trying to clean up the mess, but it's too little, too late and I highly doubt the download will actually give us anything really substantial. The ending to the series has already been ruined for me and after this and DA2, my Bioware days are done.

I think angry joe put it best "they're going to tell us WHY their **** stinks, instead of giving us not stinky ****".

I used to be optimistic about EC but bioware you're making it really hard to be optimistic right now

Sadly, the first part of your sentence isn't going to happen. Which I see as more missed potential, as Bioware could have redeemed themselves from that photoshop horror that they called "Tali's face", which would be killing two birds with one stone.

As for the second thing, I have no idea whether they'll do that or not. Let's hope so, right?

They would have to either -

1. Confirm IT
2. Use some other way of negating the existence of the Catalyst and the horrible options "Control" & "Synthesis" since I find both idiotic and insulting to what was established in the series.
3. Get rid of any form of "Space magic" that can do ridiculously unbelievable things like change the DNA of the ENTIRE galaxy!

I would MUCH rather the game finished with no answers or closure (as in the Reaper war still ongoing) than the Catalyst and his stupid choices.

I'd rather let the reapers win, everyone's dead. earth burns, the galaxy's destroyed (well that happens anyway). but at least I'll have "closure" to the story instead of this vague, confusing, utterly unsatisfying ending we have now. EC please save me

An all out happy ending!or an all out reaper victory or an indoctrinated ending that leads to some clever dlc or an ending that only clears yhe reapers out of the sol system while harbinger retreats to another system meaning the end of ME first trilogy and thr start of ME 2nd trilogy the reaper wars however they do it in all endings the mass relays arent destroyed.

It depends, really.

Destroy being the most malleable ending of the three, I would not put it past BW to have high enough EMS negate the drawback of the red shoop-da-whoop blast.
In fact, I very much hope they did just that, because it would already be enough as far as I am concerned.
One could still argue against Destroy by pointing out that Shepard refuted the more utilitarian choice of Control and refused to elevate the whole of the galaxy to utopia. Valid enough bases for discussion.
Meanwhile, wounds would be mended with Destroy, which already gets more bonus-material than the other two that, however short it is, casts doubt on its "description", being expanded and clarified upon in a sufficient manner.

Even the end of relay-travel for the immediate aftermath of ME3 would then be bearable. If they have not gone down that route I truly have to fundamentally question their competence.

Sadly, Not going to happen. I mean, no offense, but that would be spending a lot of resources and time on one single character that might or might not be alive in the player's game. They wanted to focus on fixing plot holes and bringing closure to everyone, rather than just people who romanced Tali (I mean, if you don't romance her, you don't even see the picture, so...)


All I want is Normandy crew and Shepard reunited. That's it.

Pretty much anything that changes the ending to make it satisfying to play in any way. Too bad that falls outside of the scope of the EC.

i'm aware, my hopes were destroyed 10 minutes after the EC was announced months ago

A complete reworking.

Given that will never happen, a simple reunification scene, a scene that shows that the crew made it out and that civilization is rebuilding in some way.

I made a post a few months back outlining what I would've put at the end. I'm not even going to try to dredge it up, but it left hope that the crew would be reunited and that civilization would rebound.

But with the way things have gone, I'm not even expecting this. They'll double-down on what they've made so far, if anything.
