Indifference will be my emotional reaction. The entire game has a horrible story so the EC has never been in the position where it could fix anything at all.

Not surprised, but saddened by the fact the series has come to this being reinforced again. 2nd strike from Bioware and DA3 will determine whether I'm done with them. There are elements I liked in DA2 and ME3 granted, but I'm not sorting through mountains of trash to find a few gems.

Unlike some people I don't visit BSN or keep my eye on Bioware products to enjoy and laugh at them consistently failing like this. I honestly question people who still visit here just to complain and mock with not a sliver of hope for the future. What's the point?

I won't be buying BioWare or EA ever again. Not even on sale. If I can borrow/buy a trade in so they get none of my money then maybe.

Burn all my ME retail copies. Sounds extreme but if the EC proves me that Bioware is incompetent....well it's the only way to forget this franchise.

Are you a child or an adult? I hope you're the former, otherwise I'd worry about your emotional maturity. This is only a game. Repeat, it is only a game.

After finishing Mass Effect 3 for the first time, I couldn't even look at my xbox for 2 weeks.

After that, the only thing I could do on it was watch Netflix. I didn't want to play other games. What was the point? I had spent hundreds of hours getting lost in the lore of these games, and then the makers had decided to pull the rug out from under me in the name of, "artistic integrity."

After a month, I finally started playing games again, but it was only recently that I could put Mass Effect 3 in my Disc tray. I don't think I would have ever been able to play ME3 again if I had not had the hope of the extended cut.

So, to answer your question, if the Extended Cut is horrible, I will never ever touch the Mass Effect series again (probably will revert back to getting sick just looking at my xbox), and will be extremely wary about buying Bioware games in the future (now that I know that, after hours and hours being poured into them, the Developers will not think twice destroying everything so that they can try to get some "deep" ending. I definitely will never pre-order their games again.

Over dramatic? Maybe. The timeline was true, though. I couldn't even look at my xbox for weeks. Maybe I should thank Bioware. During that time, I learned what this "outside" place is. It is pretty neat!

Well I'll just be glad this whole bit is done.. I can finally delete all the ME games/files and move on with my gaming life.. I've been holding out for this game with high hopes but Bioware finally closed the door on it for me..
