Is there some unwritten rule I should know about when it comes to being a lower level character allowed to play a silver by other players? Last night some jerk wouldn't get ready because I was a vorcha level 9. This wasn't the only lobby where other players didn't want me in their squad. People should at least let others play one mission and then if they are horrible kick them or play stupid games. I swear this makes my MP experience uncool! There is no need to be a-holes!

I think its cus no one wants to be the lvl20 guy who gets outscored by a low level character.

How do you know he didn't want you on their squad? Usually they won't just sit in the lobby, they'll kick.
(and the only problem I have with some random players is their refusal to use consumables. On Bronze okay...anything above please help the team out!)

There's no rule but this: playing with randoms can by random
If you like, join our players group and you'll be fine. I regularly level up my characters in Silver with my friends and no one complains. Our group philosophy is that all loadouts, characters, skill levels are welcome.

Do you really feel like you're an asset to the team as a level 9 on silver?
Just curious because that manifest is a little lacking.

The OP's Manifest looks a little lacking but right about where bronze is no longer challenging and ready to move on.

Indeed.
With Silver, any level is fine with me. If you're confident enough to bring a level 1 to Silver, then you're probably a better player. Really, Silver just requires a better understanding of the game mechanics to be successful, Gold is the only place where massive firepower/level matters enough that I'd consider kicking someone for being to low level.
Personal opinion.

Ready to move on using the characters you leveled up on bronze.
Ya don't just hop in half-cocked and hope for people to carry you.

Level 9 on silver is honestly not bad. But don't ever pull a Level 1 on silver, as several people do.
And, if you are like Level 20 and your N7 is 20 and you're attempting gold, people won't want you there either. It's just because you won't have weapons that are a high enough level to accomplish anything.
You gotta understand that these people don't know you, and while you may be perfectly capable of attempting higher level difficulties with lower level characters, they can't really trust that you will be reliable because, based on my experience, the majority of people who play the multiplayer aren't very "good" at it. nobody really wants to start off a match on the wrong foot.
I was with a group of 3 other randoms playing Gold with my infiltrator (my best class, Level 20 at the time), when I decided to switch to an asari adept in hopes that I could strictly remain support. The adept was like level 1, lol, and since they had been playing with me they trusted me but overall it turned out to be a disaster.
Lower level charaters have far fewer hitpoints and their abilites have longer cooldowns and less damage. Thus, most people in higher end matches don't wanna be accompanied by someone like that. As I said earlier, however, there is nothing wrong at all with you being level 9 and attempting a silver match. That's what silver is meant to be for. If need be, you can always quit and re-queue another silver or play one more bronze to level up again and eliminate this problem.
Goodluck!

I wouldn't kick on silver. But my rule for gold is to be over 1000 to be allowed to bring a level 1 into the game. Ppl help me boost by doing that, obviously though I know what I'm doing and put on level 3 gear. Usually average around 80000 points with a level one.

Ya I usually only kick for afk. I would like a player who could carry their weight but if you can catch bullets than fine by me. OP wittyknight on xbox. I wont kick you.

I really think with the Vorcha, you need to max both Bloodlust AND Fitness like, ASAP. If you haven't got both maxed, you might be a liabiltiy.
This comes from personal experiance of me trying to use a promoted Vorcha... I got to around level 10 before I gave up, I just died way too fast. That said, my build was Flamer-centered...

I know they didn't want me in the group because he did try to kick me but you need all three players to kick. I was waiting for him to grow up but I wanted to play against the enemy not a potential ally so I left. I did have consumables equipped because I felt a level 9 needed the extra help and I had equipped a very good arsenal which could all be viewed. I did think I was an asset otherwise I would not have been there because I don't want to pull the squad down and bronze was not challenging. After a few squads refused to play with me I did downgrade to bronze. I was just curious for future reference if I needed to be a level X to be taken seriously in silver. Thanks to the group invite!

LOL, level 9, level 1, what does it really matter? I've seen low N7, level 3 characters outplay high N7, level 20's on gold so many times I can't count.
It's got nothing to do with levels. It has everything to do with not playing correctly. Stick with the group, revive when you can, don't agro towards objectives when a single player is more suited to completing them. Use cover and pour on the powers and ammo.
Anyone can do that at any level. It's the rambo's that are born of and encouraged by lazy Bronze matches that ruin players.
And kicking from Bronze or Silver is pretty lame. Neither of those levels are all that hard even for non-team rambo types.
