 Starting a thrid playthrough of ME3 this weekend.

I have ONE Shepard that left Kaidan alive and I want to make sure I get to execute him on the Citadel.

Do I pretty much just have to be a jerk to him throughout the earliest missions?  Do I have to make sure I DON'T visit him in the hospital?

 Yep, just be a jerk and don't visit him in the hospital. Then you'll get the renegade interrupt

I think you can just pick the regular dialog options that you get (not the red/blue ones) and that usually results in his death.

Good luck on your holy mission.

EDIT: Actually that might just make your squadmate execute him. I don't know if that's acceptable.

Let Thane die in ME2 and don't visit him in the hospital.

The same thing you do with Ashley. Be curt on Mars, ignore them in the hospital (you don't have to kill the council or have Thane dead) and then don't pick the paragon interrupt to have your squadmates lower their weapons. Then DON'T pick the paragon/renegade line (pick the neutral line on the right side) and you'll be able to shoot them.

That's true; I thought we were friends, and he didn't even join me to help fight the Collectors.

And neither did Liara. She was too busy hacking computer terminals or something. Killing her is next to impossible, though.

He motorboats the crap out of my Shepard in their ME3 love scene. Stupid Traynor just does a lame fully-clothed shower scene, Garrus fades to black after pulling her on the bed (and thus breaking one of my futuristic iPads!), and Liara's all, "look at me, I'm blue! Look at my blue skin!" and there's nothing else.

I'm totally willing to forgive Horizon just for that.

Eh, but she IS responsible for the continuation of everyone's Shepard. That gives her some leeway.

I don't want to turn this into another 'I hate Kaidan' thread because I do respect the fact that he has his fans.

I just wanted to know how to kill him so I can see all the big differences throughout the game.

It's with great regret that I inform you that you won't actually be able to dome that fool, only fatally gut shot him, and while I did find that to be cathartic to a certain degree I would have much preferred to shoot him in the face.

I think if you do go visit him in the hospital you have to not take any of the interrupts/not use persuasion--except the last interrupt. If you don't take it then one of your squaddies will do your dirty work.

Can i kill Ashley in the normandy. I really am getting tired of the 'you worked for cerberus' crap. I want to space her. I'd pay for that DLC. Space ashley 'dlc'. All that happens is you can space her and no ones the wiser.

You kill Ashley the same way you kill Kaidan.

Honestly the one game she was the VS my Shep shot her in the stomach. I wish he could've just told her to GTFO but that entailed him sounding like a cheerleader so nope. Bullet in the gut it was.

She annoyed the hell out of him since ME1 though so that was a long time coming.

Why blow his brains out if you can nuke him? I never, ever, let him live past Virmire. He's soooo boring to listen to, and he sucks in combat, both in ME1 and ME3.

Yes, I played a default Shep to see if Kaiden improved, which he didn't.

I fully admit to not liking him overmuch but sucks? Nope. He's pretty damn useful on my runs. I do play biotics and infiltrators though.
