Yeah, have to disagree that he sucks in combat. Reave and Overload are awesome. Never had a whole lot of use for cryo but it's useful for some good combos.
How do I make sure I get to blow Kaidan's brains out on the Citadel?

He motorboats the crap out of my Shepard in their ME3 love scene. Stupid Traynor just does a lame fully-clothed shower scene, Garrus fades to black after pulling her on the bed (and thus breaking one of my futuristic iPads!), and Liara's all, "look at me, I'm blue! Look at my blue skin!" and there's nothing else.
I'm totally willing to forgive Horizon just for that.

I want to get rid of Kaidan too; because of a three-letter word which begins from G and ends with Y. Honestly, I didn't expected that from him. Unfortunately, me Shepard is paragon, so I'll need to tell him to GTFO after Priority:Citadel. I hope he won't send a dinner invitation this time.

Of course, you could just renegade him, and then kick him off your ship after the coup attempt. You get 25 resource points and still don't hear from him again.

I played through with him first and was gettin that vibe. I didn't execute him just kind of stand-offish after I realized it.... It's like betrayel in its own, ya know? So I started a new game + but my paragon is maxed out so I had to start a new game with a save for the renegade in me to execute him.
Started a new game with Ashley. Even though she is emo robot arms she has Inferno grenade. Zaeed had inferno grenade and it is win. She will be my Zaeed since he is other worldly occupied with another mission and it is more important that Shepards or Mine. I guess I sort of am Shepard.
The moral of the story is always Inferno grenade.
