This was supposed to be just an another operation. Like many before and many to come. I picked Vorcha soldier and started the game. And then I got struck......

....I can't play him. No, not that I don't know how to. Somewhere in the back of my mind this thought was always there, but I never gave it any interest. I have never played Vorcha nor Krogan nor Batarian. Well, maybe 1 or 2, but that's just it. And I never knew why. Now I know. They just totally suck. In comparison to other species they have very few to offer. I'm not gonna go into secifics, cause I just want to share my view.

So thank you Bioware that you have made me realize this. Apart from this operation (and maybe some more if it's required) I will never play those species.

Vorcha and Batarians have only ever been really useful to me on Bronze. Thankfully, this operations lets you play on Bronze.

Krogan? Depends. I'll never use any of them on Gold, but they're all pretty decent on Silver, especially if you go with a 6/6/0/6/6 build with the Sentinal; max out Lift Grenade and Tech Armor, take all the Health, Shield, and Damage Resistance bonuses you can get, +Grenade of Warfighter gear, and you've got the best tank in the game.

They suck? o.O Batarian Soldier suck? Krogan Vangiard suck? That is new. Maybe you are doing something wrong, but Batarian Soldier is awesome, Krogan Vanguard is awesome, Batarian Sentinel is meh, I admit. Krogan Soldier/Sentinel, if used well, are good, Vorcha Soldier/Sentinel are awesome. And I am always talking Gold difficulty in mind. What game are you playing?

Say that you don't like these classes, that is ok, acceptable. But saying they suck ruins your credibility to state opinions, badly.

.....they are amazing. i tore apart a couple of gold spawns with the batarian soldier and vorcha. batarian is my favorite infiltrator because he has lots o eyeballs....im guessing you like infiltrators.

I actually am really enjoying it. See normally I play shooter characters so I'm in cover taking patient shots and tossing powers about, but for this operation I took a Batarian out to play.

WOO.
*fires Claymore*
*takes the heads off of two Cerberus Assault Troopers*
*melee combo to kill another*
*Exploding Ballistic Blades for another*
*Heavy Melee takes the head off of a Nemesis*
*Phantom appears*
*Claymore is reloaded, blades ready*
"Come here you ****, I got a present for you."

I love it. I can't believe I've never really tried the Batarians before.

 Here's a link to my personal Vorcha Soldier build. I use it on Gold and am frequently top scorer. Even after the sniper rifle nerf this build still kicks ****. If you want builds for the other characters my site has plenty for every class. Game On!

Vorcha that dont melee crazy and go for the health regen can destroy Reapers on gold.

they are the only race that can stand head to head with banshees without dieing from DOT and can stack so much DOT on Banshees that instant kills are often intrupted.

Ravagers can be run straight up to and meleed to death even without the build for melee thanks to the fact they cant fire up close and their swarmers and blood cant overcome the effects of even a non stacked bloodlust.

The truth... has been spoken. Played a Krogan Sentinal on Gold, outscored the infiltrator at his own damn sniping game. (Saber III, EB V, PS V, with the Reegar I as backup) The thing is kinda like a heavier Viper.

As Daforth said; the Batarian Soldier is very good. Don't judge a character until you've truly played it.

Ummm...no. They are both awesome. Batarian= ballistic blades + heavy melee=punching heads off and exploding corpses. RedJohn solo'd against the geth on Gold in 19 minutes with the batarian soldier, so to your claim I say "nay". The Vorcha is also exceptionally awesome.

I completed my Operation on Gold\\Reapers\\Jade with a squad of level12 Vorcha Sentinel(me), level13 Krogan Soldier, level 20 Batarian Sentinel and level 1 Kroguard.

So I don't think they suck.

It's hard to discuss without giving any specifics. So I'll just say that you're wrong, they don't suck, not all of them. Either not your playstyle, or you just suck playing those classes.

Just came back from Gold Reaper Goddess. First place grenade-specced krogan sentinel (84k-ish), second me on flamer/regen/Wraith vorcha sentinel (76k-ish), two valiant infiltrators below us (let themselves get killed all the time). Scored full extraction with two pizza runs.

In short, the class is great, only requires some thought and positioning. You don't seem to know the specifics, their dodge is amazing and the flamer makes entire spawns panic/melts Reapers alive. Learn to play.

If you don't like the style, sure, nobody's forcing you to play a vorcha, but don't come here and proclaim "the class sucks!". It doesn't.

lol. It's not that they suck. It's that you suck using them. Don't blame them for your lack of skill.

Vorcha Sentinel is a beast but like the Geth classes you have to play it smart. With the right build you can make a very mobile assault fighter that needs minimum cover. Same with both Batarian and Krogan types. But that's why some people have a hard time playing them, the classes don't work well in absolutes.
You play an infiltrator you use TC at 6 with a sniper rifle and 5 without.
You play a human solider you max AR.
Almost all Vanguards need charge
You get the idea.
Vorcha and Batarian classes need to have a balance. A pure melee build on anything higher than bronze will more likely fail miserably, but cover shots in fire all the time is a poor build as well. You have to get to that right pace where you're closing the gap while gunning them down as you walk forward, catching cover only when it gets too hot and using melee as a push power to keep them back/finish them off rather than charge forward and smack.
