 Mass Effect 3 DLC ideas

:alien:  Reapers/Reapers creators origin  :alien:

Their origin could be linked to sagittarius
dwarf galaxy. Its the nearest dwarf galaxy and its distance is 70.000 light
years from milky way. A DLC could explain some of their origin and a travel
till other places to understand their motives. The reapers would be between the
two galaxies traveling to harvest the milky way and deliver the spoils of war
to the civilizations in Sagittarius. There are others two dwarf galaxies near
ours that could be used: Small
Magellanic Cloud
and Large
Magellanic Cloud.
They could be used to get more War Assets (Lost and
old advanced technology that discovered some truth about the reapers or their
creators). Or maybe another possible DLC ending, where the fight is taken to
their home, and the outcame is death again (bittersweet).

That would be cool to play as indocrinated Sheppard
delivering the galaxy to the reapers through betrayal. He could travel to a
dwarf galaxy to discover something about the reapers to ease the indocrination
till he break and accept the reaper concept.

Or renegade Sheppard joining forces with Cerberus to
try to control the Reapers. He would travel to a dwarf galaxy to learn more
about the enemy and get more technology to attempt to control the reapers.

Paragon Sheppard would travel to get more war assets.
Maybe old advanced technology, maybe some Prothean survivors looking a way to
get back to the milky way to get revenge.

All of them could end up in failure, like the
endings we already know. Or new endings with very different outcomes.

Probably these ideas are poor, but I like this
universe so much that it is sad to see it arriving to an end. Id Sheppard did
not die, this could be an idea for the next game: ME4. No civilization would
send all of its force to harvest the milk way, so, more reapers would appear to
verify what happened, or prepare a more offensive invasion. The crucible could
be used against them in their own territory or something like that.

I've always dwelled on Reaper motive concept - why bother cleansing just 1 galaxy in the universe every 50.000 years - if there are billions of other galaxies out there...

I've had such idea too - but I considered traveling to the nearest "normal size" galaxy, ergo - Andromeda (just a "mere" 2,52 mln light years from Milky Way... ), where Reapers could have derived from.

That could be too. I thought somewhere more local just cause it would be easier on the map. But other normal galaxy would work too I guess. Too bad we are not going to see any of this... Maybe 10 - 15 years from now another game could do something like that.

How about this for a DLC, an idea I had for a very long time.
You get a new squad member and other items.

A Cerberus defector tipped you off that a human have been in stasis mode for a very long time, from where it all started, on Mars. He was extracted from Mars by Systems Alliance, but later got into Cerberus's hand. You are to retrieve this human and more importantly, find out how to end the stasis mode.

As you can see, this is pretty similar to From Ashes. Well, some part of it are true. This human was the very first human to discover the Prothean base on Mars. He was trapped in a stasis pod similar to Javik's and had remained in stasis ever since.

You can add more to this if you want.

That seems pretty good to do and can be added early to the game. I hope that the next DLCs are easy to get along so replay value will be increased.

The first Reaper or their early predecesors must have been created by organics at some point.  Possibly a member of that species has been in some kind of :wizard: stasis ever since.  Not sure on how that can be expanded, but it would be interesting to explore I think.  What was their original intention?  Was there an intention?  Was it like the geth problem, but they couldn't resolve it?  etc.

I goes back more than a billion years, but some hints of how it happened could be still available somehow.

DLC idea 1: Retaking Omega. This will reopen access to the Collector Base debris field with possible technological treasures still hidden in the wreckage. I'd really love to see that one, and I think it could play very well indeed.

DLC idea 2 (possibly redundant because of content already in the game): Attacking a Cerberus facility where androids like Dr. Eva are built.

Maybe a special or secret DLC epliogue where you play as the love interest to go find Shepard and bring true closure if you choose the Destroy option with a High EMS. Ubisoft did that with a video movie on the end of AC:R were it provided an epilogue on Ezio 's later life and provided enough closure to put that to rest.

Jack DLC. Or ME2 Squadmate's DLC including Jack.

Or a cool Take Back Omega that somehow includes Jack.

Jack. Jack. JACK.

 Free Mass effect DLC idea

When i was playing ME3 the other day i thought to myself  "the Normandy interior looks pretty crap!" i mean there are wires hanging out everywhere, loose panelling, lack of light and also a skeleton crew! I believe that a DLC which see's you linking up with Admiral Hackett and the Alliance fleet where there are new places to explore similar to the Citadel but with a more military feel. This could include an N7 area where Shepard could purchase the standard issue Alliance armour and also N7 weapons. Also in the explorable area is an Alliance shipyard where you can purchase interior upgrades for the Normandy including new areas such as a firing range and personal armoury where you can see all of Shepards weapons and armour on the walls and tables. You can aslo purchase a full crew and upgrades which tidy up the Normandy interior by fixing panels and lights and also hiding loose wiring. The DLC will also include more N7 missions which you will conduct on your own. These missions will see Sherpard targeting high ranking Cerburus officials, sabotaging bases and stealing intel. These missions will see Shepard using his N7 skills to full effectivness and all missions will be able to be completed without killing any enemies which will yield special Alliance rewards or you can choose to kill every single enemy which will yield different rewards.

I hope you enjoy my idea and if enough people share and spread the word who knows what could happen :)

TBH, I think the Reapers home world was the Citadel.

That would be nice indeed to see. Something that adds to the game without changing the end of the game.

I've got an idea for DLC, It's called the revival pack. The alliance and other races have discovered more active prothean stasis pods scattered across the galaxy. This DLC gives you the map "Eden Prime" (the same on the "from ashes" mission), And 2 characters: Prothean Vangaurd and Prothean Adept. The Vangaurd will use Biotic Dash, Carnage, and Dark Channel, and will have the passives of Ancient Warrior and Fitness. The Adept will use Singularity, Barrier, and Dark Channel, And will have the same passaives as the Vangaurd. Now how awesome does that sound     B)

this is excactly what i was thinking, just bulk out the main story without making drastic changes to the plot. This means that it would be a hell of alot easier for bioware to make

I would like a Take Back Omega DLC with Aria being a temporary or possibly even (very unlikely) a permanent squadmate.

I also think a Batarian would be pretty good, and help make the squadmate choices suck less. I honestly don't see why they wouldn't in the first place- there's some obvious tension between the Batarians and Humans/Shepard after the Arrival DLC, and it would be great to work with a surviving Batarian that resents you and is forced to work with you. You can then gain his trust or at least convince him that you need his help to defeat the Reapers or something and gain a new squadmate. I don't know exactly, but I definitely think that Batarian would be a better idea than meathead James and sexbot EDI.

Someone like Wrex would be cool. All squadmembers are scout boys and we have Javik, the bad imperialist lost race.

Single Player ideas: Awesome. But, I think that some more Multiplayer characters, say some protheans, or a turian infiltrator, would be pretty cool too.
