Hey, all.
About a year ago, I posted a question about setting up an encounter that would start with a cutscene and then progress to combat with custom creatures that the PC and party would fight in at least three waves. _Knightmare_ had a great idea about using a script that he posted that used encounter triggers that would activate one after another, once the creatures had been killed and their bodies vanished.
So, what I need is a better understanding of how this process would work. I need a way to actually start the encounter, since it will fire from a conversation. Then I need to make sure the next trigger fires, which I can't figure out how to do with my limited scripting knowledge.
Any suggestions? This should be the link to the topic I posted, _Knighmare_'s script should be about half way down.

Basically, an encounter generates enemies based on it's parameters. You tell it you want up to x number of goblins, up to y skeletons etc. You set the spawn points of the encounter, and the difficulty, and the game handles giving an appropriate mix.
What Knightmare was talking about was using the onExhausted script of the encounter(eg all the creatures from the encounter were killed) to trigger the next encounter you want. This same basic script can be used to call the initial encounter from a conversation. For the initial script, you would simply use Knightmare's script as a script running off the conversation.
Hope that helps!
