I was wondering is the M-3 Predator the max rank for it is
VII because all my other weapons in SP are X but then I went on Mass Effect
wiki and it was said to be believed to be a glitch. Does anyone know if it’s
the max rank or if something is wrong?

you have your profile set to private and also im talking about SP (single player). i can read from your url it says multiplayer

You can get Predator X in singleplayer through editing saves, but I've never been able to get Predator X without doing so, so I believe it is a glitch.

If you leveled the Predator to V in your first playthrough, when you do a New Game + the Predator should auto level to VIII when you first get control of Shepard. Later, on the Normandy you should be able to purchase up to level X. Sounds like a glitch.

That's the way it should work, but I don't use the Predator so I don't know what level mine is. One sec, let me check.

thats ok. looks like everyone is saying you can get to predator X but everyone is saying they are stuck at VII. i wonder if Bioware knows of this glitch or not and is working on an update.

Just checked all my save files, and yeah, I can only get the Predator to level VII, and I'm on my 2nd New Game+. I had the Predator leveled up to V at the end of my first game and after I level it to level VII in NG+ it disappears from my upgrade list.

That's the way it *should* work. It doesn't.

Behind the scenes, the game starts you out with a Predator of whatever level you upgraded it to. It does not run the "weapon_found_upgrade" script on top of that.

There's a bug in single player that keeps the M-3 Predator from being leveled up beyond rank VII. It's a known issue.

It is not awarded correctly in the Prologue during NG+.

You're not telling me anything I don't already know. That's why the post above yours says that I checked and found that I couldn't get mine to level VII either.

Don't know anything about a glitch, but...

Why would you waste credits getting Predator X when you could use it on Carnifex/Phalanx/Paladin? Or even Scorpion/Talon?

I would agree that it would be better to use those but then again he could always be one of those people that feel inclinded to maximize everythings level, even if they arent going to use it.
