....Under 120 I can understand, because it means they have never fully got all classes to level 20, but after that it's just plain stupid.
Pics or it didn't happen. You are telling me that this person never received a single character card?! I smell BS or hax... not impressed.randomfoo wrote...

Tonight, an N7 20 dropped into our free spot w/ a level 20 Human Soldier and X and IX ultrarares equipped - apparently, he's been playing for weeks and only plays the same character (/snip)
Your N7 rating will not go up, regardless of character cards, if you don't make a character. I smell not checking how the game works... not impressed.deafmedal1 wrote...

If true, sorry, but that was back in March... I've slept since them, lol! Does that only work at the beginning? Last time I promoted my soldier class I didn't make a new character till this past week, and after character cards, when I did make a Krogan, Batarian, and Vorcha for this weekend, I was lvl 12... no idea if my N7 went up before creation(again, don't really pay attention). That's silly:PAmicusHumaniGeneris wrote...

N7 level means nothing. 120 is the max level without promoting any character, so you never know how much a person playerd and only 2 promotes bring you up to 180... my level by the way, just because of the 1 promotion event I took part in.
People that haven't played much have a N7 below 50 and these are the guys that haven't much experience, but you can't tell how many games and experience any other person has. Players with 120 can play all day long and beat gold solo with level 1 weapons or something like that, but you can't see it in their level.
People just have to learn that N7 means nothing and will never be able to tell you something about the players skill. I played with N7 2000 morons and low level guys that outperformed me.
N7 Rating is absolute useless. I can't even think about what BioWare thought how it could be a cool feature? Please tell me if you know what BioWares ideas were behind this senseless system.

ive actually found that people with N7s over 500 are typically Worse players than those between 150-500.
That said, any with N7 between 500-2000 are usually average, 2000+ are good, but the best performers lurk around 300 N7

We all know that a great percentage of players out there see an N7 under about 500 and assume the player has no skill. To be honest I used to think the same. The N7 rank has become a skill level assesment rather than a competitive leaderboard goal. Today I played with a gamer I assumed would run around the feild shooting crazily into the air. An asari vanguard using a claymore...no way I thought! Using no rockets the entire match he put up a very impressive score considering the other two players were SI using the Krysae. After the match was over I asked how he put up that high of a score being so low in N7.
The message read
I have chosen not to promote I just see no point in it. Skill is determined by the reaper lives you take not by a number based on how much you play the game, and by the way im no he im a woman. Dont judge a player by her N7
I dont think ill ever kick a player based on N7 again. I had more fun playing with that gamer and that match than I have in a long time on ME3. Even if the player is new to the game we all were at some point. Id forgotten the point is to come together and just have funnot play until you pass out trying to get that Ultra-Rare you're dying for. Or to glitch and cheat running through matches as fast as possible. Id like to give a shout out to the woman who renewed my love for multiplayer and the fun it brings.
Heres to those players in it for the fun of it all cheers!
