I do like the fact that even the forum itself now labels this thread as 'hot'. ![]()

it's easy to have a hot Shepard when you've modded everything about him. create a GOOD looking Shepard with what's only in the game.......and then we talk about it.

That's the criteria for gay porn stars, right? ![]()
They are supposed to look genetically engineered by gays if they ever want major popularity.

Op i dont want to be an ass but I dont like it really i honestly prefer the normal shepard face ( iv always used it) i never try to make my own shepard
in dragon age games its fine i can dig it
but for some reason in mass effect series i just enjoy how he looks from the start.

For me Sheploo is the only Shepard.
And I'm honoured that you chose a piece of artwork I made as your BSN icon. ![]()

A challenger appears! Mod-free.

I can only contend for the femShep title, though, since that dudeShep is SMOKIN'.

Mass Effect 3 is a lot easier to change appearance. I'll improve him on 3 when I get there. But tried my best with my Mass Effect 1 ~2 (imported) character. Tell me what do you think about him. This one is a true man.

I'm taking action in an attempt to rectify this gross injustice! (sarcasm, sort of)
For those of you who want to be able to create this kind of shepard (though maybe without the freaky eyes) and use the PC like I do:
1st. Acquire Gabriel's headmorph and face textures found here: http://www.file-uplo...--Face.rar.html
(Thanks to Duchell for re-uploading it, by the way)
2nd. Acquire latest stable version of ME3Explorer found here: https://github.com/M...rer/ME3Explorer
3rd. Don't forget to backup your important files and read the files labeled "readme"
4th. Use ME3Explorer to permanently install the face textures into the game so you can use them when creating a new character
(Whether you install them permanently or use texmod it will still cause some (extremely minor) texture issues in game)
5th. If you want the shirtless look or want to add a cute hat to the game, all the tools and knowledge you'll need can be found on aristaea's blog: http://social.biowar...m/2134634/blog/
This includes the coalesced utility: https://wenchy.net/m...lesced-utility/
As well as tutorials on how to modify armor or even remove armor pieces so you have "blank" pieces (this is needed for the shirtless look as well as any other appearances that use the full-body meshes)
You can also learn how to add new casual outfits and helmets/hats to the game.
6th. Just in case you're lazy here's where to find a couple of other useful tools I've yet to link to for texmod and the save editor:
http://texmod.software.informer.com/ and http://svn.gib.me/builds/masseffect3/
7th. Let it be known that I use Gabriel's face textures and love them (thank you, Duchell!). Also, more importantly, if you do not understand all of these steps right away, don't panic, just start small. The best tools to use (without having to fear/regret the consequences) are texmod and Gibbed's Save Editor.
I hope someone (anyone) finds this information to be helpful.

My only question is did he finally wear armor during the battle to reclaim earth or did his abs just shred after the explosion to reveal a layer of under armor beneath his flesh?

I can't run Texmod.
But that's fine. I'm fine with that. Totally fine with it.

Have you tried ME3 Explorer? I've tried both and I can't say I've ever liked Texmod myself. I mean, it's a great creation and the cool thing is that it doesn't actually fiddle with your files, but it doesn't seem as reliable (and the mods for it sometimes come in the wrong format and compression method for some reason, causing issues). I also had trouble to run it at all. ME3 Explorer permanently alters the game's files (Backups are important.), but it's much less messy.

I downloaded it and then didn't really feel like messing with it. I should get back to figuring it out. I just don't want to spend an afternoon on it.
