Dragon Age Origins doesn't really effect Dragon Age 2. At most it changes a few dialogue options and some bonuses on certain missions. Since you played DAO, you can easily play DA2 and still understand everything.

Awakening? Not really, Some dialogue will be different with different characters, but hardly anything game breaking.

Oh! It doesn't really tell you anything about the ending of Awakening. Origins is pretty much all you need to play to understand the story. Like I said; Dragon Age 2 doesn't really go back into the previous games except for brief dialogue and some cameos. So, no. You don't have to know the ending of Awakening to play Dragon Age 2. As long as you have played Origins you should be fine. :D

no you dont need to know how awakening ends.the only thing is whether you saved vigils keep or amaranthine and thats only for a small quest in da2.

Oke thanks for the advice people you where very helpfull.I did use all the save games for the mass effect series and it was worth it.So that was why i was wondering.Mabye in the future i will play origins and awakening again! But now i just cant wait to try dragon age 2 without having to spend 50 hours or so extra on some older games for small dialoge changes.

Once you get the DA2 itch scratched, I recommend replaying the series as a whole. They are great games. :D

Yeah i loved origin and the parts of awakening i did play. But i have so many games to play that i want to focus on the new ones i got.But the games will be kept safely where i keep all of my games safely. So i will always have something fun to do in the future when i cannot think of something.

Have fun gaming. And I would suggest registering your game when you get it. I beleive you get access to some unlockables. [Don't take my word for it though, since I am not sure.]

And if you play on PC, here is a great sites for mods. http://dragonage.nexusmods.com/
