I was wondering if a really good unofficial fan made patch existed and if so could someone link me to?
Thanks in advance.

There is no fan patch worth speaking of that fixes things like quest bugs in the official content, other than one small one that adds back a bit of removed content from Storm of Zehir.

On the other hand, Kaedrin's class pack fixes a lot of bugs like bugged spells..

As much as I'd like to have one, no. There are some fixes for spells, etc (search for the user "player1" in the Vault), but just for some specific things. Kaedrin's pack is your best bet as far as bug fixes go, but then you'll have to install extra content and other changes that you might not want to, and it's not compatible with everything.

I wish there was a compilation of bug fixes without extra add-ons or modifications, but such a thing does not exist to my knowledge.

I have a fix for Nasher's set, which without this patch cannot be completely assembled.

I also have a fix for the MotB Dream Weapon which without this is bugged badly and quite limited.

The problem with a fan patch is that often people what to change something they don't like rather than fix something that is broken. Official patches tend to do minimal changes, but fan patches tend to do far more than they should.

Skywing's Client Extension patches a lot of game bugs.  I don't play NWN2 without it.

Last time the game got patched it trashed my mod and I had to remake loads of it ! So I think little fixes that are optional like Kaldor Silverwands are far better.

There's not that much wrong/broken with the game is there ?.

Yes and no. The game is perfectly playable and mostly free of important bugs, but there are countless little things that don't work correctly: some feats, spells, item porperties, etc.

Many of those were fixed by Kaedrin, but as Kaldor said, you can't have install just the bug fixes without also installing a whole lot of modifications on top.

There are a fair number of things that are bugged in the official campaigns. For example, at the Haven, the hot springs do not check the skills they say they do (they say survival, which would seem to be correct based on what you are doing, but something else is checked). Another example in the original campaign is a quest in Neverwinter where you are supposed (or spend, I forget exactly) to receive some gold for an action, but don't.

Someone did go through and fix these (I confirmed by the toolset the two above bugs exist), but they also broke many things as part of their effort to "fix", and applied their personal preferences. Unfortunately they didn't break up their work into quest bugfixes and personal preference, and the personal preference stuff breaks things terribly, it introduces many game breaking bugs where there were no game breakers previously. Because the work wasn't separated, and there isn't a full list of what was done, the work was essentially useless.
