Will EC have some new cinematics? Most likely.
Will EC be all cinematics? Absolutely not.

True but I think all cinematics will take place before the breath scene.

Won't there be specific cinematics for the "Shepard lives" ending? If so, then they must somehow include Shepard, thus they can't be pre-rendered. I guess we'll see in 2 days.rowan93 wrote...

So all the cinematics of an epilogue are going to take place all before Shepard breaths?

I think there will be cutscenes where there are diferent crewmembers depending on what you did throughout the games. It probably wont be all cinematics, because it's much easier for BioWare to make variations to the scenes if they can replace the characters in-engine, instead of having 5 pre-rendered sequences ready for the same scene.
Rest assured guys!
Cutscenes aren't that big on size.
Just open up your movies file in your ME3 folder. Most cutscenes are below 20 MB.

I find it weird that this DLC weighs 1.9GB, and that only 10 mins are added for each game, even with all the possible variations.
Regarding the 10 minutes thingy, I only saw that on the forums, i don't have access to Twitter or YT, but it's apparently Merizan who said that. Can someone elaborate ?

One ally comes in to help you, and kills something in a heroic way. Then a bigger enemy arrives. You and the ally fight until it looks like it's the end, then -another- ally comes along and stands tall alongside you.
This back-and-forth continuing until we eventually reach the moment we regain control and head for the beam. I suspect there'll be a similar idea with the fleets as there would be on the ground level, though I suspect in both cases it'll be more vague as to who's doing what and what they actually are so as to reduce how many variables they need to show (possibly some additional troops/ships in various scenes (in the background) to make it seem it's a larger resource.
I say that because I don't think they saw Priority: Earth as being the main bone of contention.
The ending will likely only amount to about six or so minutes for each ending, and will probably be a little more detailed due to the disparities in squad members who would be alive and so forth, though that's only if said members are given moments here to grant closure.
I suspect more likely there'll be a slightly longer scene on the crash site planet, and maybe some short epilogue of Shepard's grave (or rather a memorial) and either an LI or your closest squadmate saying a few words. I suspect that it might be after this point that if you'd survived, Shepard will walk up behind them, or over the horizen, with the friend/LI seeing them and reacting accordingly, bringing the story to a close.
Of course with this I am assuming they will have sorted out the issue with squadmates suddenly being on the Normandy, and perhaps galactic readiness will also have an impact on those squaddies on Earth and their survival.
I assume that there'll be some reasoning given for why Joker fled or appears to be, and hopefully some of it will be less of a mess.
Of course I can't speculate as readily on whether IT is or is not a part of the ending, but I'm guessing they will probably still have a lot of fans not happy, primarily because of Starchild (will they allow us to skip dialogue in the final ten minutes if it's unchanged, or not?), and the fact I doubt they'll retcon the three choices.
I'd love if they've added a defiant fourth option though. That alone might just be enough to make me start caring again.
Edit: If it's just plain ol' epilogue stuff, then obviously a fair chunk of what's here is moot. Though I believe a memorial to Shepard will play a key part in some way. Or rather I'd like it to.

Bioware could be trolling us.
I highly doubt it's 10 minutes long.
It doesn't make sense they would spend this long to only give us a 10 minute long explanation and epilogue for each ending, which is 30 minutes total.

Exactly.
They might still have Shepard chime in via radio or something if they want to save themselves some work. Although I sure hope they have not taken that approach to this...
