I love how the heavy melee flings enemies across the screen. Kroguard is very powerful...still not too sure about the barrier...I mean I feel like the enemies just are very briefly inconvenienced by it...

Kroguards are just plain out awesome and fun to play but I personally have never been outscored by one, public or private when using an Infiltrator ( namely GI ). So I am not sure about that Infiltrator you played with being a good example of why Infiltrators are not OP..

Yeah, Kroguards ae very hard to kill, they don't do that much damage but still I consider them one of the strongest characters available. But they won't ever be nerfed - people insist on playing them as melee, and even if the rage wouldn't be broken melee can't do so much damage as good shotgun - Graal, Reegar, Wraith or Talon.

When I play as Kroguard I don't really have much time to pick targets, I charge every cd to keep myself alive. So I sometimes miss the warped/reaved guy, simply because I press charge button at the same time as I notice other enemy suddenly glowing blue. I have area charge evolution, so he usually explodes anyway, but not always, it's not really comparable to Nova.KiraTsukasa wrote...
They also tend to lack brains. Whenever I play with a vanguard, of any sort, I'll switch to asari justicar and area reave everything I can. They all charge or nova or cluster grenade or SOMETHING to detonate, except krogan vanguards. The only time one will set one off is if I sneak in a reave right before they charge.
Btw, I LOVE when I charge enemy set up for BE, it simply feels good knowing your charge will have so powerful impact. I feel like human or rather Krogan rocket missile.

Really not?? (except every shot with you claymore is a headshot) Do the math again.

For the sake of the event I was playing my Kroguard for the first time. There was a gold match against Cerberus. Two Kroguards, one Asari Justicar and Geth Infiltrator. For kicks and giggles I put cyclonic modulator on my char. What a match it was. Basically everything got destroyed in no time. Phantoms? Charge, step back, shoot in the head. Rinse and repeat. We ended gold in 20 minutes, Kroguards had over 100k, infiltrator barely 30k. Pure ownage. So If people are complaining about Infs being OP - sorry. "He can dump aggro on the rest of the team!!1 one!!" - cool, bring it on!. So - please BW, nerf the Kroguards. Having almost 4k shields and ability to regen them every few seconds, killing most things around it's just not fun. It's boring. I tried to repeat this thing in the next match - without CM. So just 1800 shields. Oh well. What the difference it made? In time they were depleted I could charge again. As I said - the most OP char in the game. GI is a small pinky compared to this one.
Your opinion is invalid because it's not about infiltrators.

I'm not talking about single hit damage, but compare time needed to headshot three times with Reegar or Graal to 3 x heavy melee animatiom + time to actually close range if needed. Ranged > melee.tonnactus wrote...

A kroguard is hard to kill but it comes nowhere near the iwin button that is tactical cloak.

I just spent like 20mins reading about the unexpected male demographic ages 13-35 and their fascination with ponies...I don't get it...sorry not threadjacking.

Vs. geth it´s even worse, charge get stunned, die.
When Krogan Vanguard is OP then what is the Novaguard?

They do have the slowest cooldown for charging of all the vanguards (especially if they have their barrier up). It might be that they'd like to charge, but can't right at that moment.
Mine only carries a Talon IV, and his cooldown is 4.64 seconds without the barrier, and 5.79 with it.

I don't think they are subject to stunlock--as long as their barrier is up.
