What will the warden be like?

The warden didn't have the luxury of importing his/her looks or developing a consistent personality like hawke so I'm wondering...will my warden's personality be honorable, sarcastic or violent? and if so are there factors in origins that will determine this? or will every warden have a default personality and look depending on race and class? I know some of the da2 default histories state the warden as either being Kind, sarcastic or ruthless so there must be something...

Something I suggested on another thread, about importing choices from previous games to DA3 would work well. At the beginning of DA3, when you do your character creation, you also have a chance to create the appearance of the Warden (and Hawke, if necessary), for use in this game. Because of possible changes in graphics, that would save us the problem of the depiction of our heroes from one game to the next being messed. And, with the better features DA3 is sure to have, it will also allow us to make our Wardens look better, than we were capable of in DAO.
I agree, I'd be devastated if my brunette/tan warden showed up with red hair and pale as snow flake

I don't see how an elven Warden can properly be imported with the revision made to elves.
I wonder if my dalish warden will have an irish accent

Or Welsh, like Merrill.
Voicing The Warden would be a huge mistake. And my Warden is ethnically Antivan (Latino). They wouldn't know the right voice to use for every Warden. A voiced Warden would simply agitate fans who prefer a silent protagonist to voiced protagonist; I'm also a little concerned we might see the DAII Zevran treatment done for elven Wardens.

Personally I wouldn't want to see either of them. I don't mind reference to them from a cameo or perhaps remnants of them from a fight they'd just had prior to our new protagonist getting there like "oh you just missed Hawke/the Warden, they were here not 10 minutes ago!" kinda thing, I'd say that would be a better way to go if the DA team insist on mentioning them at all.

It's time for other, new protagonists to take the center of the stage, and for other secondary characters to join them.

I would PREFER if they left them alone. I love my Wardens/Hawkes but...I don't need to see them in the next game. Or...ever again. Too many variables.

Anyway best scenario is DA3's PC is with a small military host of whatever faction he/she is fighting for when they are attacked by another army. My Wardens army then enters and saves them, my pc is brought before my warden who will be fully clad in armor and a full helm on top of a horse and he makes a hand gesture to set me free, then have some other NPC fighting in my wardens army to free my DA3 pc.. Since I would rather my warden not speak because I would probably not like the voice

Hawke should totally make a legit cameo though, maybe as a quest giver. I totally want to see my FemHawke still hopelessly in love with Anders, preferrably with a tragic end to both of them. Touchingly tragic of course.

Either that or strap a helmet on both of them.

Complicated stuff, with a lot of variables in question. In SWTOR they gave both Revan and the Exile a cannon look because they needed to use them, however I hope that isn't the case here. I would prefer they get killed off if all else fails.

Neh, I don't want to see my royal warden beside their spouse with a helmet on or any kind of armor for that mattter, leave the fighting to the grunts.I want to see her in elegant noble clothing.

The Calling can also be used to explain the Warden's change of personalty.

Putting aside the fact that the warden is not going to the calling for at least another decade, the calling does nothing to drastically alter your looks or personality.

I would say, losing your hair, your eyes going white, your skin losing its pigments (or causing it to go dark if you prefer the old Darkspawn) and going mad from hearing the old gods in your head all time, would be very drastic.
Either way, If we do meet the Warden again, I think they will either just use a default appearance based on race and gender, or more likey, just be wearing a helmet.
Me presonally, I would prefer the helmet.
Mainly because I always wanted my Warden to wear a helmet at all times.

That only happens when you turn into a ghoul and who wants to be a ghoul warden?
