Currently I'm playing Witcher 2 and I hate to say it but I'm getting more fun out of it than ME3. I'm already planning on a few more playthroughs.
I'm looking forward to the next installment to Witcher and fallout way more than anything from Bioware

Bioware's overall handling of this controversy has shown me that this is somewhat of a corporate culture within the company - just make it up as you go along and hope it works out.
Doesn't instill a lot of confidence in me, to be honest.

Nothing, it will make enough poeple happy to shut them up and any who are left will be so far under radar that bioware will simply move onto that next big DLC etc etc.
This.
Its a big community and its going to be hard for Bioware to make EVERYONE happy. Aint going to happen.
Well, im still going to enjoy the journey, even with the EC and with the story DLC that will come.

To completely redeem themselves they'd have to redo almost completely the entire final mission.

Yeah lots of intrigue and a deep story line. I actually heard about Witcher 2 here in BSN. That's one achievement Bioware has succeeded with ME3.(Get their fans interested with other games).

Very nice.
My expectations are to be reunited with my LI after I blow the crap out of Harbinger...I mean, Catalyst. And have a bit more clarity on old deus ex. I think I'm safe.

It won't fail my expectations.
For those where it may not, don't expect any more ending DLC. This is it. They listened, and they put three months of work to try and answer some questions.
Although by listen, they took in all the constructive feedback, but I'm sure anyone that wanted a complete rewrite basically throws out the creator's ending and makes it the fan's ending. Therefore it kind of makes it look as if the fans are the creators of the Mass Effect franchise.
Fact is, the fans did not write or produce the game in any way, so we are technically the audience. Kind of like those who watch movies. We are not the actors on the screen who made the movie, we are the audience who sits and watches.
Fact remains, no matter what you do, you can't make everyone happy. Heck people are still complaining about Star Wars to this day (original vs edited versions).

They are basically, people assume they're American because they have offices in the US and are owned by a US company.
Also in regards to the EC failing well, if it does I'll walk away from Bioware and anything they're marketing for the foreseeable future (maybe I'd purchase something from them if it was EXTREMELY good and showed me that they do have some of the old Black Isle magic left)
They are Canadian. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, and their multiplayer studio is in Montreal, Quebec.
It won't fail my expectations.

Just adding in another 2 cents, one of reasons I'm fairly nervous about the EC is listening to the interview where they talk about it and it seems like they really still don't understand the major points of contention fans have with this. When the main writers say things like "well we know fans are upset because they just don't want to let go of the characters they've grown to know and love" it just makes me cringe inside. I mean after all the very well put together feedback on why the ending was seen as such a disapointment they think that that's one of the causes for the outcry well... we may be in trouble.

If it surprises me in a good way, some of my confidence may be restored - but it would take some pretty amazing writing for that to happen. Especially considering the explicitly declared "no new endings, no changes to existing ending".
Either way, I'll be taking a long hard look at any future Bioware releases and fan reviews before I even consider buying.
