And because I know they're not changing anything, just adding to the current ending, a Shepard + LI reunion is the only thing that will salvage the ending for me.

If Bioware does this, it would come across to me as a desperate attempt to deflect the player's attention from all the flaws of the ending by waving your LI in your face and saying "See? You can live happily ever after with your space waifu! Now forget about that ending." Unfortunately, if this thread is any indication, it seems quite a few players have bought into that idea. <_<

It's about the only thing I really want out of the EC anymore, just some closure with the character's I care about, thats it. It's about all I expect the EC to actually fix anymore.

I'm staying optimistic about it, but with the LI stranded on Eden Planet it would take some retcons and they're not doing that :/.

Then again, the BioWare team seemed to have nothing but contempt for Thane and Jacob fans (killed the first with no chance of saving him and presenting the romance as a meaningless sexfest and, for the second, had him go knock up the first thing with boobs that he encountered), so perhaps the rest of you can get your happy reunion.

When you romanced Thane he says basically that he has very little time to live, you're lucky bioware didnt just kill himm between games. He even had probably had one of the most bad ass cameos if any ME2 squadmate.
As for Jacob, he found a better PRIIIZZE

Bioware have been nothing but screwups lately, I wouldn't count on it. I really want for it to happen, but you gotta fully understand who you're dealing with here. The most bare minimum thing Bioware can do is show an epilogue slide the Shepard lived and saw his friends/LI again. How much effort can that possibly take? I mean really?

The possibility of a reunion will be available, but how it plays out will be left to our interpretation. Probably for the best. It couldn't match most expectations.

I started with the attitude that there is no Shepard Lives scenario.  No one knows he's alive.  He's in the rubble of an exploded Citadel somewhere in Earth orbit.  How would anyone even find Shepard?  Shepard was battered, blasted, and bleeding before the Citadel exploded in his face.  I just don't see that "breath" as being anything but Shepard's last breath.

All that being said, since Mac and Casey can use Space Magic to make everyone machines, I guess they could magically pull Shepard out of the rubble, too.  It would be just one more thing to show how bad their writing became when they moved Drew Karpyshyn over to write for SW:ToR.

- If true, that's their solution to the EMS issue? Just removing the easter egg completely and having Shepard die in every ending? I would be in a new dimension of pissed off. I wouldn't be able to trade this trilogy in fast enough.

I say it probably won't happen. I also wouldn't get your hopes because you are going to be majorly let down come this Tuesday. I am going into this expecting the worst because I know this EC is going to leave many people the same way they felt before this thing was ever announced. And if I am wrong, well I know I am not going to be wrong.

And if that happens, that will be the final straw for me and I will be majorly pissed and be spamming these asssholes all day on Twitter. It's a damn RPG game. RPG means you decide your own story and if you did everything the right way and took the time to complete everything, there should be at least one ending where Shepard can live. They gave us that, but if they take that away and Shepard dies in all the endings, I will spam these F*ckers all day until they block me. That's the final straw for me with this series and this company if they are actually stupid enough to do that. And I guarantee many others will be beyond pissed as well and never buy another product again from this sad excuse of a company. Sorry, but that made me very angry now seeing that as a possibility for the EC.
