Make sure to lick them all. Bioware loves that s**t.itzLWM wrote...
If that is what happens, I will sing BW's praises. And buy a ****load of PSP's with real money to reward them.
Anyone think LI reunion is all but guaranted in the Shepard lives scenario

So a Shepard lives and reunites with LI scenario is pretty much the only thing that could satisfy me without them redoing the entire ending.
Agreed.

Which effectively means Shepard dies in all endings? Smh....then I'm totally done. No reason to play the game again if I can't live in any ending.Doofe2012 wrote...
If that quote about the "Shepard lives" ending being cut out turns out to be true, I'm going to flip my s***. That would be all it takes to ruin Mass Effect forever for me.

If I dont see Miranda again, the game gets traded in, period.
^^^^ except Liara. Because if I can't see Liara again it means there is no reunion with the crew either and Shepard dies alone not having bathed for months, probably living a life of panhandling, homeless, in a cardboard box with a bottle in a paper bag drinking herself to death trying to make the nightmares of watching Kelly Chambers pound on the tube as she was turned into goo, Thane taken by seeker swarms, the 300,000 batarians she killed, the allies the sacrified, and the teammate she betrayed (EDI) and never seeing the one she loved or her friends ever again... no not those... that recurring one with that damned kid go away. "Can you spare a few credits for Commander Shepard? I .... killed the .. reapers."
"Aww... the poor thing. Thinks she's Commander Shepard."
Thank you Mac and Casey.
Because at this point the series can end at ME2 simply by erasing Arrival from the HD which leaves the Reapers stranded 100,000 ly out in dark space.

Sadly I think the chances for this to happen are close to 0% as it seems BioWare intended Shepard to die in every ending. The breath scene was an easter egg, not an actual 'shepard lives' ending. My Shepard will probably never see his beloved Liara again, and Liara might well die of grief once she realizes Shepard is gone for good this time:crying:.
But please BioWare prove me wrong! I've never wanted to be wrong so badly in my life.

ME1
1.) Shepard defeats Sovereign.
2.) Humanity has a council seat.
ME 2
1.) Shepard defeats Collectors
2.) Liara becomes Shadow Broker
The only things I can think of for ME 3 are:
1.) Reapers are "gone". Whether they were destroyed, controlled to leave, or simply left because there's no more organics to harvest is irrelevant. They simply cannot return as a plot point for any "future" series
2.) Shepard is dead. Control and Synthesis already show he "dies" so any post-ME3 game would have to make sure Shepard "dies" in Destroy as well. Whether this is an old-age death or "we just showed you Shepard alive briefly but he dies shortly afterwards anyway" is irrelevant. Shepard cannot exist as more than a footnote in any future series.
3.) The Relays are destroyed. The 3 "choices" really leave no room for interpretation.
Given this, it's possible that if Shepard lives longer than a few moments in Destroy, he could be granted a reunion with his/her LI but it wouldn't make sense in the grand scheme of things as I think BW really wants to "kill Shepard" anyway. Don't get me wrong, I want him to give Tali her house on Rannoch but given BW's track record with the ending debacle, I'm a tad pessimistic.
maybe tuesday will be different...

Connecting Shepard with a stranded Normandy can't be done in only 10 minutes without massive handwaves. It's creating a problem just to immediately solve it at that point, why strand them at all?
And anything else is ignoring their vow to not change the ending.
Logic dictates that you shouldn't trust anything they say. They said you wouldn't need multiplayer to get endings the first time around and that turned out to be false. Why trust them automatically now?Taboo-XX wrote...
And you think they adjusted the EMS score, and made quotes about it JUST to **** with people? Use logic people.

The ending was a tragic result of many factors, most stemming from Casey and Mac being left unchecked.Captain_Obvious wrote...
