I don't think that was reunion by twitter. I think she was saying that in the EC, you can choose wether or not there's a reunion.

As mush as I want it to happen, I don think that it will because of the fact that the EC won't confirm or deny IT. By showing Shepard greeting up from the rubble, you will know whether IT is true or not ( is there still a big battle going on) Again I hope that I am wrong and LI/Crew reunion is possible, that might let me stomach new playthroughs.

We've seen a screenshot where they're looking at it but you can't read any names. Could be Anderson. Anyway, Shepard dying in some outcomes is a given, so even if it is Shepard's name on there it doesn't rule out anything else.DTKT wrote...

Make the planet somewhere the entire fleet was retreating to, with most of them not blasted by the wave that took out the Normandy. Also it should be fairly nearby-ish (so a slog back to Earth without the mass relays is plausible) and a reunion is possible. That sort of thing might happen. What I'm sceptical about, more so after that Twitter message, is anything beyond leaving it to your imagination, so the whole romance thread is still left as a loose end.sH0tgUn jUliA wrote...
It's the simple fact they're not saying one way or another, but if Liara gets off the Normandy on Gilligan's Planet. I know there is no reunion. They had three months to make a simple change and add a simple epilogue drawing that codified it. Was that asking for too much clarification and closure?
Instead they leave it to the new lazy writing "head canon" of the player.

The squad needs to come home. I don't care about some stinking jungle Garden of Eden. The people we've fought with and fought for during the past three games all deserve better than to be sacrificed to some blatant attempt at phony symbolism.
