Ascension everybody!

The StarChild never said it helped every single organic ascend. Only that it helped their races ascend, which it did.
It is not lying, it simply has a different way of looking at the galaxy.

Shepard: "...but you killed the rest."
GlowBoy: "No, we helped them ascend."

It takes the form of a child it murdered and you think it's not lying. Come on.

Also, the Quarians.
Also, the Zha.
Also, the Protheans.

Also, note the use of the word "helped" instead of "forced".

And for all intensive purposes we ARE clients of the galaxy.

True. The Reapers would elevate us to their state, the turians wouldn't.
They both killed harmless colonists.

We retained our sovereignty.

Which presumably all three choices are meant to be.

And though many people apparently believe Destroy to be the "good" ending, I don't really see anything White about committing genocide.

Do you understand the principles of the First Contact War? Humans were the entire reason that started, we were about to open up a **** ton of Relays and the Turians tried to stop us, we were a threat to galactic stability.

The Reapers have no agenda or reason other than a tired "Yo dawg" meme.

"Rest" here, clearly means the space faring species. Species that do ascend.

Couple problems here:

1. Starbrat is the most accomplished genocidal psychopath in the universes history, and we have no option to oppose him. He repurposes past civilizations to assist his reapers or kills those who can't, Holocaust anyone?

2. To follow the same theme, the relays are tools. tools meant to destroy the organics but still tools. Like a pistol used by a **** officer to execute people, except a couple people over power him and steal it from him and shoot him in the head. should the gun be destroyed because it was made my the ****'s for their end. Of course not it should be used to help those in need, to kill other ****'s and protect the innocent for as long as the weapon has bullets in it.

So go ahead, "Flame On!"

Apparently the cussing filter got me every time i refered to the National Socialist Party of WWII Germany.

Not sure if trolling or genuinely into this bizarre line of thought.

Organics are "ascended" to Reaper form as per REAPER PROPAGANDA.
Organics are not ascended. THEY ARE KILLED IN THE MOST HORRIFIC WAY POSSIBLE AND USED AS CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL.

If a gestalt intelligence results from that material, it has nothing to do with what came before. Those people are dead! Are you seriously, seriously going to compare the Volus to Reaper goo now?

I don't see anything white or black or grey about comdemming the galaxy to live in fear of Reaper control once again when Shepard looses control. Which is inevitable.

Because the proper action to take when someone drives on the wrong side of the road is to shoot that person, discover where it lives and kill its entire family.
Don'y be naive. Stopping us from opening a Relay is one thing, opening fire first and occupying our territory is a war of conquest.

The Reapers are trying to preserve organic life before we are extinguished by synthetics.

Ok. Fair point. However, the Reapers have only tried to make a Human reaper. Harbinger states the reasons why the others aren't viable for "ascension". Thus, he still lies.

So what's your argument. Turians are jerks, therefore Reapers are justified in being genocidal maniacs?

Sense, this makes none.

Every single indivdual killed, processed and put into a Reaper body looses their individuality. Walters took Huxley's work, twisted it and controted it into something disgusting and then said it was art.

No, no no no no no! NOOOOOO!!!!! There is no Brave New World in ME3, only The Island.

And instead of commencing peaceful relations and politely explaining that what humanity was doing was probably a bad idea, the Turians opened fire and proceeded to occupy a human colony for a month.

You've either missed an episode, or you don't believe what both ME2 and ME3 has told you about the Reapers and their function.

You claimed the Reapers have no agenda. They obviously do.
The way they choose to go about it is attrocious and it must be ended but that doesn't change the fact they do have an agenda.

We cannot make peace with beings  that view us as fuel and material.
With criminals that revel in destruction, that won't accept surrender, that run death camps and use mind control to drive people insane.

Again, comparing the Turians to the Reapers. WAT!? Just no.

Yes, in ME2 I got that they were harvesting for an unknown purpose which was DARK ****ING ENGERY written by Drew. Then in ME3 Walter's magically changed it to "Yo dawg."

I don't think I missed anything other than the plethora of lies.

Doesn't matter to a computer doing calculations on how to best preserve civilizations. Whatever twisted form the species continue to exist as after being processed, they still exist. The only sense they need to make is that the species is still there. Which they are.

Not less than five seconds before Stayboy Shepard said contol was not going to work. Not five seconds before starboy. How...How am I suppose to believe this will work?

Of course we can. You just described any war ever fought and slavery. And yet, peace was possible.

And the Reapers don't revel in anything. They clearly believe themselves justified and are astronomically arrogant.
But I see no evidence Reapers take any pleasure from what they do.

You clearly didn't go deep enough then. Legion reveals what Sovereign was. We knew two and a half years ago what the Reapers were and how they went about doing it.

And specifically, give me an example from ME2 that clearly connects the Reapers with dark energy. And don't give me the original ending crap. It was changed. Deal with it.

It could have been referring to a Capital.
Maybe Humans are the only species suitable to become a Capital Reaper and the others will be Destroyers.

If I'm not mistaken, I remember a mention of Harvest Ships on Pallaven.

The Catalyst has knowledge of the galaxy and it's cycles that spans more than a billion years. Shepard has been around for 30.
